This video was after her tribute performance to late Adnan Abu Hassan by singing his song that he made for her with a medley of Jawapan di Persimpangan, Jerat Percintaan and Wajah Kekasih.. A whatvshe said, after winning Bintang HMI in 1995, late Adnan Abu Hassan went to Kuala Lipis(her previous home before she fully resident in Kuala Lumpur after finish her highschool in early 1997) with Siti's former recording company CEO/OWNER to persuade her late father and convince him to allow Siti to become a singer and they willingly to follow her late father demand since her late father was a strict father(he was a policeman). She also thanked late Adnan Abu Hassan's wife(that was there at the concert) because they let her stay at their home when recording for her 1st album or if she has schedule in Kuala Lumpur since she was not fully resident in KL at that time(1995-1997).. She said she try to sing fan requested song that she rarely sang live but only 2 song and she jokingly said she is not a jukebox.. The 2 song that she sang was Seribu Kemanisan/1000 Sweetness(she sang this song only 1 time in 1999 for her concert in Singapore but no video recorded for that concert) and of course Kurniaan Dalam Samaran/Blessing in Disguised( she sang this song in 2000 or 2001 for tv show, for her mega concert also in 2001 and last in 2009 for Konsert Satu that you reacted before).. letme try to translate(please forgive me for the grammer) Just now is a medley of songs created by the late Adnan Abu Hassan, the first person that noticed my talent on TV and he searched for me until he found me. He went to my hometown, Kuala Lipis to 'propose' me,that time Datuk K(Siti's husband) still not here..Haha Adnan went to Kuala Lipis with my previous boss to meet my father, to persuade him to request me to sign contract under Adnan's record label. Alhamdulillah (thank God), my father is a picky person but during that time he is not looking for an international record label, he picked a local record label for me to work under Suria Record (SRC). Today, Im appy that the family of late Adnan Abu Hassan to be here together with us. Please applaud for Datin. Thank you Kak Lin for willing to be here. Ill never forget you kindness, allowing me to stay at you house. I was a high school student at that time. I took the domestic bus (Msia called it 'bas loncat2'). From Kuala Lipis to Raub to Kuala Lumpur. Thats my daily routine after school, stayed at the late's house and Kak Mir took good care of me, cooks for me. The recipe Ill never forget until now, haha so long the story(the crowd laughing).. the ecipe is lidah masak mata(lterally translated to tongue cook eye) It is so delicious. Kak mir and her sons also here please applaud for them. Actually I never rralised that I already has almsot 25 albums and 250 songs,haha this is all facts given to me by my sister, haha. I nver possibly can sing all these songs in a concert. It will take about 5 to 6 hours or until tomorrow (the crowd screaming- its okay we willing to stay) Its impossible that I could. Okay, its okay? (while showing thumb up).. Amboi (it almost can be the same meaning as well3) You guys called me jukebox? haha.. Neverending singing right? 😂 I can only pick a few songs and this is one of the most difficult thing for me when doing any concert, to be able to pick the right songs that will be loved by every fans coming. many fans requested for this songs, that songs however for tonight, I want to thank all of you. so I want to sing a few songsrequested by you, if there is any. Is there anyone want me to sing any songs, that I didnt sing during this concert, anyone? (singing part) *seribu kemanisan Okay I give you guys one more chance. What song? The most difficult songs? Kurniaan dalam samaran? This song really is a difficult song. Because this osng need to be sing in the style of 'enka' ' (im not sure if this is an exact word she said). Ill try my best. From starting video until 4 minutes plus, siti tell her story about how she became a recording artist..a composer, late Adnan Abu Hassan go to siti hometown in Kuala Lipis, Pahang to make siti sign as a recording artist in Suria Records..Siti late father was a picky person coz he want the best for his children and he agree because late Adnan Abu Hassan show some effort to find siti in her hometown..Siti became recording artist at her young age and she still in school at that time so she need to take bus from her hometown to Kuala Lumpur where the recording studios at..she's very thankful to late Adnan Abu Hassan family that take care of siti when she at Kuala Lumpur..during the concert, Siti say thanks to the late Adnan Abu Hassan wife and children who came to watch the concert..after that siti ask the audience to make some request song that she never sing in any concert before..2 requested songs are Seribu Kemanisan and Kurniaan dalam samaran (the hardest song like siti said) and after that she start the concert again with a medley of chorus from her album Transkripsi Sorry if there any mistake that i made..I tried my best to memorize it 😂
