Ok so let's say that Bellamy truly does believe Clarke is dead and doesn't hold onto any hope (which seems unlikely but alright) it doesn't mean he'll open his heart up to anyone while he's in space the next 6 years. The head and heart conversation between Bellamy and Clarke were important, and I believe Bellamy will close off his heart and only operate with his head for the next 6 years. I can picture us seeing him cold and closed off in Season 5 until he reunites with Clarke. But if the writers do decide to show him hooking up with Raven or Echo it will obviously be a temporary plot device to show that once Bellamy reunites with Clarke, that relationship with Raven or Echo will go out the window. Honestly him getting with Raven or Echo are just terrible ideas which I don't believe the writers will do. Think about it. If he hooks up with Echo he's hooking up with the girl who tried to kill his sister TWICE, killed his ex-fling Gina and all those people in Mt. Weather, held a sword to Clarke's throat, and the list goes on how she always became a problem for the group on multiple occasions in Season 4. When Bellamy reunites with Octavia in Season 5 do you really believe Octavia would accept or even like his relationship with Echo? Hell no. And he knows that. Plus he even tried to kill Echo himself. Now let's say he hooks up with Raven and they become a couple after 6 years. That also wouldn't work because how do you think the fans would react when he reunites with Clarke and ends up dropping Raven in Season 5 for Clarke? Raven doesn't deserve that and it would be unfair for her character to get together with Bellamy and be in a relationship with him just to be kicked to the side when Bellamy and Clarke reunite. Raven deserves a real love and the thought of Bellamy and Echo being together in Season 5 just makes me want to vomit. The writers have been planning Bellarke as endgame since the very beginning. Even Jason said in a recent interview that the entire show is centered on Bellamy and Clarke's relationship.

I completely agree that Bellamy and Echo are going to end up a thing. Bellamy believes that Clarke is dead so why wouldn't he move on? It makes my heart ache. The only hope I can cling to is that neither Bellamy's or Clarke's relationships with other people have lasted very long so if he is with someone else, it can't last when he realizes Clarke is still alive. My mind has been all over the place after the episode and I'm glad that they did the skip ahead in this finale instead of starting the next season with it. I wonder though if we'll get those 6 years played out in Season 5 or if it'll be flashbacks. I really hope it's just flashbacks because I do not want an entire season of Bellarke separated. However long it takes for the show to come back is entirely too long...not sure my heart will be able to take it!

2424dianne Not assuming. The evidence is pretty strong. If you haven't noticed, the way a lot of the delinquents get through the trauma is by finding solace in each other! It's totally reasonable for Bellamy to, in the wake of Clarkes death, try to move on and be happy with someone else. He did this with Gina even when Clarke just went away.

I agree. Imagine yourself in an almost empty station for six years and thinking that Clarke is dead and you left her behind. Of course he will resist for some time but will eventually think that Clarke would've not wanted me to be miserable for the rest of my life. Nothing wrong being single, but people are social creatures after all. My theory is that Bellamy is or has been with Echo. Emori and Murphy might be in trouble or she might even die in the flashbacks and Murphy will be with Raven at some point. Raven might find someone from the new prisoners. Who knows really... Depending on many things. Do they get Season 6, do they writers get at an advance notice when the show ends/is cancelled etc...

Take this L You might want to start paying attention to what the writers are actually writing. Bellarkers aren't delusional. They're not reaching for something that's not there. The narrative has always suggested Bellarke. “First of all, Bellamy and Clarke have always been at the center of this show. It has always been the story of - on some level - Clarke and her relationship to Bellamy.” That's what Jason, the creator, said. He's said before that romantic Bellarke will eventually be explored. You may not like it, but that's always been the truth.

I think Bellamy will get it on with Raven or Echo (probably her), but he thinks Clarke is dead and its been 6 years, he could always fall in love with someone. However his true love will always be Clarke, and when they get back down, yeah they may be some angst but I truly believe they'll end up together. Epic season!

I loved all the Bellarke this episode, this whole season, but especially this episode. I was holding out them going to space together, but I knew it wasn't going to happen. That line "I left her behind and we die anyway," broke my heart. I was like "Oh Bell, you'll see her again." Jason said that their would be Easter Eggs that foreshadow season 5 in season 4 and the few things that have come up in discussion and apparently have come up 3 times this season is a space mining operation using prisoners. I remember Abby and Jackson talking about the origins of Night Blood and Becca was contracted to make Night Blood for space miners. Some people say their's an old newspaper in Echoes about a missing prison ship and in Four Horsemen when Jaha shows Clarke the archives there's a mention of night blood being used on space miners. I don't remember the last two, but I do remember Abby and Jackson's conversation. So the theory is that that's where the ship is coming from.

I completely agree with you that Bellamy and Echo will be a thing. She was recently promoted to series regular. 6 years is definitely a long time for Bellamy to grieve. Look at the scenes they've been giving us for the pair. "Will you ever forgive me?" Com'n this is The 100, where Clarke spits on L.xa and then beds her. No one hates anyone for too long. Plus Echo always done what she believes is right for her clan and leader. She did save him in Mount Weather too. This finale was the best Bellarke and season finale episode. Was I the only one that saw that drink with 'Baton' labelled on it? Clarke has passed the baton to Bellamy. Also, he thought they never had that drink. I'll definitely be watching your GoT reactions. Like you said Jade, "may we meet again."

I do hope that Bellamy doesn't spend the whole six years thinking Clarke is dead... part of me feels that the involvement of the radioing has to mean it's received... by someone, if not Bellamy. It's not unnoticed actually... just missing. Jackson is talking about it that episode Raven has her first seizure. They're a mining colony made up of prisoners (albeit, not so different to t100 I suppose).

So here's my sappy prediction. I don't think the ship has been there for 6 years because if it had than they would have come down after 5 years. So here's the theory. Clarke's been radioing Bellamy, but Bellamy can't hear it at first, he does try to move on with either Echo or Raven or hell knowing his history both (season 1 Bellamy did get around a lot). Anyways after two years in Bellamy hears Clarke giving him hope, but he can't transmit. Whomever he's with knows that he will go back to Clarke the moment his feet touch the ground so they don't get attached, or they stop sleeping with him. Anyway, the mining ship is coming back home with not so nice intentions, but for some reason they can not point home until they hear Clarke's messages to Bellamy, which brings them to the ring and Bellamy and crew. They take the group hostage and torture them to get as much information about the New Earth as possible. One way they torture Bellamy is by playing Clarke's daily message, telling him that he'll never see her again. Bellamy lets them believe it's starting to make him break so he can hear her voice every day while he plans his escape and rescue of the others. Hearing her voice saying she still has hope gives him a reason to keep going. Then they get to the ground and they have control of the ship and he is doing everything to make sure he can see Clarke again. Sappy, I know, but it might be how it goes.

My prediction is that Bellamy is not on that ship. Something else is going on. That ship is a mining colony ship that hasn't been heard about for awhile. They are hardened criminals many of them but at least they have some mining equipment so they can use them to open up the bunker. :)

Supercluster Yeah I think you're probably right. Though there is a possibility that they picked up the crew on the Ark. I certainly don't think we're lucky enough to get a reunion straight away though, especially with the opportunity to explore life back on the ark again. In fact, I'd wager they may not come back down for a few episodes.

S04E01 has a screen behind Raven in Arkadia which shows an article which says something about contact lost to a mining colony and S04E05 they talk about the criminals, Eligius mining company, nightblood, Becca etc... I'm sure there will be flashbacks from the Ark, with Clarke surviving and the bunker people. Maybe even some scenes from the mining ship or colony. Great reaction btw! :)

The show runner stated that Bellamy and Clarke have only known eachother for just over a year, so 6 years in space means they will have been six times longer apart than together. He also said people change and relationships change in six years, so it pretty much confirms that Bellamy is going to get with someone in space.

Her "daughter" would be a new version of ALI and the last two minutes of the episode would be something she/her mind experiences while being dormant in the computer waiting to be rescued?

Her not being a true nightblood was established earlier, i think. For the lost-esque ending (nice reference, btw), they might go a more sci-fi way, by having her available as a counselor accessible via computer uplink (once someone goes back to that bunker), or even as a mind/body switch, if her mind is chip-implanted into another character at some point.

Olaf Sutor She's a confirmed nightblood. It was said that her body needed time to adapt to the radiation, just like Lunas did. So it DID work in the end. That's how she survived praimfaya. Technically, they still could have all made themselves nightblood from Clarke, but Praimfaya was too close. I think the possibility of them going down the 'they're all actually dead' road is pretty slim. Especially when they have opened up the doors for possible space travel now.

Hmmm. there was no food or water in that lab and whatever there might have been the passengers of that shuttlecraft would have taken. Surviving radiation is one thing, but 5 years without food or water? I'm not suggesting they are all dead, just Clarke. And just for good measure: any spaceship returning right now would have had to launch before the first nuclear war, i.e. more that 100 years ago and afaik there was no mentioning of any extra-planetary operation on the show so far. It would be kinda odd if the show's premise in the first place (what is on the ark is the last remains of the human race) was somehow replaced by "meh, we forgot about the miners out there". One more possible clue: the "daughter" asks for "no more lessons today", which would fit nicely into teaching an AI every day. Anyway, your ideas are no better than mine. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for s5 to kick off for answers :(

You're forgetting that Night Blood isn't an evolutionary product, it was made by Becca. Night Blood was the result of gene therapy that became a recessive gene. Making Clarke a Night Blood is just reproducing Becca's results, but using bone marrow not a gene therapy.
