It isn't as much about being reserved, but about respecting the privacy and peace of other people. We like not to be bothered by loud noises and not having random people trying to strike up some meaningless small talk when we are possibly doing something else, like listening to music, or even thinking over some school/work related stuff etc. When the general noise level is low, you can have a normal conversation very easily without shouting/talking loudly And us men especially want to avoid making women or young people feel uncomfortable by strangers entering their personal space, so we avoid doing that if possible. So we respect other people's right for the privacy and peace. Ofc. there are always exceptions to these rules, especially career alcoholics often do not care about any of the rules above. Some do, and try to act very refined and nice to compensate how they make others feel with their "lifestyle", but they are on the rarer side

Respecting other people’s privacy and rights is soo important and I respect that about your country. … thank you so much for always taking out your time to explain things clearly

@@Blessing_Reacts No problem, this is also therapeutic for me :) since I am in the middle of rehabilitating myself mentally and physically from a very long sick leave. Because of this, I still have a lot of free time where I can't do pretty much anything else than watch videos on youtube

Note that if you are not throwing the water on the rocks yourself then you can leave anytime you want. Just remember to close the door. 🙂

I think it’s universally accepted that Santa Claus lives in Finland. You can even visit his home in Rovaniemi, Lapland! During celebrations like Vappu and summer festivals, many Finns seem to forget their reservations and personal space. It’s as if they have a secret party mode that activates! Sure, alcohol helps, but there’s also a contagious festive spirit that takes over 🎉

Also, if you address a letter to Santa Claus from anywhere in the World, it will come to the Santa Claus's post office in the Santa Claus Village that is located in my hometown of Rovaniemi

Every person is different, even in Finland. I guess I'm not too typical Finn, because even that I'm kind of introvert, I like to have conversation with strangers, and I don't need that much own space when I'm out of my house. But I love to be at home, and enjoy even more if I can be alone sometimes. I guess you just need to see, which kind of people you are dealing with, and adjust your behavior to that (if you are worried that you might offend someone by yourself). I'm always nice to new summer employers for example, try to make them feel as comfy as possible...and usually I have succeeded pretty well, because they don't want to leave after the summer is over. And most of them have actually said that it has been their most fun job ever, and that they would have never guessed that they would actually love to work at steel factory, which is understandable, because most of them have been 18-21 yo females.
