I live in rural Victoria on a dairy farm and in the mornings and in the evenings I usually see 2 or 3 mobs of 50 plus kangaroos , and Koalas are often in our trees. If you get of the city at dawn and dusk you see a lot of wildlife as a lot of them are nocturnal.

Laura lived at the University of Wollongong, it's a really beautiful city South of Sydney! Similar to Newcastle, maybe a bit quieter! She was pretty lucky to study there! 😄

You see kangaroo a lot if you don't hang around in the city areas... Also there was probably heaps of kangaroos in the blue mountains you just didn't see them or it's not hanging around the tourist spot. I live 20min from the city and there's kangaroo at the parks and front yard occasionally
