So much more has happened ever since Jan 2023, can't wait for a 2024 guide! Stray Kids broke record sales for their 5 STAR album globally and secured a #1 spot for pre-ordered album sales in the world, beating all other highly successful K-pop groups like BTS. Because of that, it landed them as #2 on the Billboard charts for Top Album Sales Artist and #1 on World Albums for 5 STAR. Stray Kids therefore become the second best album-selling artist behind Taylor Swift. Besides that, Stray Kids earned 2.72 billion streams on Spotify. 3RACHA even earned 100 weeks as Hot 100 lyricists and composers chart at Billboard Japan making them the only 4th Gen artists to do so. Since then, Stray Kids have been propelled to insane amounts of fame this year with so many awards. Also Stray Kids in fact did win a VMA award for "Best K-pop" and even performed their hit song, S-Class on the MTV VMA's. They also won a Billboard Music Award or a BMA and also performed S-Class and LALALALA, though online. Stray Kids also bagged wins the Asian Pop Music Awards and the AAAs. Besides the awards, Stray Kids headlined at Lollapalooza France while 3RACHA of Stray Kids performed at the Global Citizen Festival held in New York. Technically this is the first time, they have gone this global with international recognition from non K-pop fans so yeah. This is because Stray Kids released a number of collab tracks in 2023, first with Tiger JK or a Korean hip-hop and rap artist who in fact brought the two genres to Korea which makes him a legend, then with LiSA or a Japanese Rock singer who is most famous for her track on the Japanese Anime- Demon Slayer, Troye Sivan and Lil Durk. Stray Kids also placed number 7 on the highest grossing K-pop tours worldwide. In other news, atleast 6 out of 8 members of Stray Kids now officially have their own Instagram accounts. Stray Kids has also landed itself brand deals with Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen. (Only Felix and Hyunjin's ambassadorship is confirmed but all members of Stray Kids were promoted during the Tommy Hilfiger "family" campaign. Hyunjin is now officially a Versace global ambassador, while Felix is a Korean ambassador for Louis Vuitton. Jeongin or I.N has attended multiple events for Alexander McQueen which is rumoured to mean a brand deal might be made soon launching him as an official ambassador. Also there have been rumours that Bangchan has a deal with Givenchy and Lee Know with Gucci . Seungmin was promoted during Coach Japan's Christmas campaign, while Changbin also attended a Ferragamo launch event in Korea). There are so many more achievements, but this is all I could list out right now. I so hope there is a new updated guide that comes soon. Besides all this, I loved your reaction! 🥺

To clarify, stray kids DO have outside choreographers who they work with. Lee know and the dance line do contribute and add their own style but they aren’t making choreos from scratch for the majority of groups songs. They do have individual side projects that are completely self choreographed but I feel like the work choreographers do can be ignored sometimes and isn’t acknowledge as it should

I also had trouble with the word "comeback" when I first got into KPOP. It's just the KPOP term for new title track release and the very busy performance/promotion schedule that follows. Part of SKZ's appeal for me is the members really care and support each other. The guide mentioned Chan's Room lives. Unfortunately, Chan doesn't do them anymore. Many STAYS, myself included, really miss them. Glad you took the time to watch the guide.

They’re born with talents, but what makes it even better, they work really really really hard to polish it. They are not just simply good, but they work hard for it and they deserve every bits of the success they received now and even more. And despite all that, they’re still so humble and still act like a “stray kids” 😂😂😂. They’re still themselves in a very much better version.

3racha is the producing unit! a lot people confuse them for the rap line. the rap line is changbin, hyunjin, han, and felix. :)

I saw you pausing at Hyunjin's likes and dislikes but DW that's actually innocent. The air fryer thing is because Lee Know once said he was going to cook him at 180 in the air fryer for 20 mins (they play fight a lot) and the eggplant is just because he's a bit of a picky eater and hates eggplants😂

Loved how they included lee know into han's interests in the last second before they switched to another screen (they are often shipped together, as in people think they are dating/ want them to date). Most of the likes and dislikes are references to something they said at some point

If you still have problems with Chan & Changbin's names being very similar, you can call them Chan & Binnie. This was a very good short guide. They covered a good bit in it. That thing with Hyunjin....I think you were stumped with the eggplant....The thing with that is he hates the flavor. They just presented it in a funny way. If you want a lot more information, I would suggest watching The Ultimate Guide to Stray Kids by TeaNoSugaReacts. But that's close to two hours long, so I would say watch it in your own time. I know I'm forgetting things you asked.....Leave a response & I will probably have answers for questions?

By the way “comeback” is our American version of “new album”. I have learned so much culture in a year it’s crazy. People sometimes get over the top with their K-pop “idols” they get defensive, so the more you do this I am sure you will encounter that, just ride that wave…go Stray Kids

There’s a new video they released showing their 2023 accomplishments and their 2024 plans. They’re doing a world tour!!! If the part about Hyunjin’s weakness being Felix made you hesitate, some Stays love to “ship” idols together but they’re simply a bunch of dudes with a wholesome brotherly love. Their friendship is very solid. Felix is their weapon that attracts newcomers but once you get to know the others you get to love all 8, but doesn’t stop us from having biases. Changbin is my favorite rapper but Hyunjin’s colorful rap style has moved him up to be tied with Han as #2. Hyunjin is my solid bias for many reasons - please listen to Cover Me, there is no mv but you can pull up the color code, Changbin calls it a masterpiece. Seungmin is the only one that has made me cry from his vocals, please watch SKS show with Han and Seungmin where at the end they sing Han’s Vocano and Hold On (about a loved pet that died). You can skip the beginning if the show is too long for you and go to the end where they sing both songs. Seungmin’s voice deeply affects me.

It was fun to watch this with you! I see others have already addressed your "comeback" and "not going to say anything eggplant related" remarks (I knew exactly which gutter your mind went to)! This was put out early in 2023, so the "5-Star" and "Rockstar" albums hadn't been registered yet in KOMCA. You can add about 30 more song credits to our 3Racha trio! (Lee Know/ DanceRacha) I think it is safe to say that (although Stray Kids works with great choreographers on their projects) they do have immense control over what they accept as the final version for their choreos. It is always interesting to watch behind-the-scenes content when you see them brainstorming what They want to show. Which, you are right, is what makes their performances more relateable -- it does mean something to them personally... Looking forward to more reactions (I was right where you are, a year ago)!

There were some inside jokes in the "Fun Facts" party, lol. Once you start watch SKZ Code and like the "try not to laugh" compilations, you'll start learning what some of those things mean. like what the pineapple on the burger thing was (Chan having a meltdown in a live about "pineapple on his burgah", or the eggplant thing with hyunjin, etc. I saw that there is a new compilation called "100 greatest SKZ moments" or something similar, wasn't bad actually.

Not talking bad about others but nobody can give the same experience. Is just beyond good. Every latle performance that i saw was the best and this last one is even better.... Unthinkable how they manage to improve in.... Days.... Since they had a great stage on new year eve and 6 days later they did this impressive performance. I am in tears for how good it was. Seungmin is really an incredible and just amazing person in every sense, he manages everything, no matter what he undertakes, he is good at everything. Amazing vocals also writes songs himself. Few people know that he was still in the dance club at school. His movements in choreography are always so natural and clear, as if without a drop of effort, he plays the guitar, plays baseball, football and bowling superbly at first glance you wouldn't think but he is very hardy. It is a common misconception that the kids choreograph their dances. They do choreograph some of their solos and they have an input about what parts of choreographies to choose from but they either work with JYPes in-house choreographers or have choreos submitted to them by outside teams. They work very often with Men of the future for example. Stays take pride in a fact that skz do most things themselves and often in their enthusiasm overestimate the choreography part. That said at least Lee Know and Hyunjin can choreograph and as I said did choreograph some solo stuff and dance breaks. Their group choreos had a choreography team from the start but they are mostly in-house choreographers/their dance teachers and renowned choreographers they work with a lot so no one forces them to learn anything they don't feel as fitting the song. They choose what to dance.
