It was really a nice production from the Norwegian TV with the interview showing Angelina as the wonderful person she is and highlighting her original songs including her explaining the message of the songs. Both songs are so beautiful: one uplifting and joyful and it is really impossible not to move along to it, the other sad and comforting with the last cry coming from her core. Thanks!

Liz, for me what brings the tears is partially the message of her original songs, but more so it is the person behind the music. I hear the music but I feel the beautiful soul that created and delivered it. That is why she is an angel. Her original music is so beautiful and heartfelt and I feel very strongly that her career going forward will be built on that angelic talent for creation of emotion. I hear that she may have already dozens of original songs already prepared for coming albums. I wouldn't doubt that for a minute. What a gem, and thank you for continuing to support and bring her to the fans.

You are absolutely correct Ron. When interviewed shortly after the release of “Million Miles”, Angelina said this about her songwriting… “ Many people may not know about this, but I've always been songwriting. When I was little, it's just hard to share all the feelings, but now that I'm older, I feel like I can express more of the emotion and the feeling into the song. That's why I feel I'm ready now to share it with people.” Nice reaction Liz. Keep up the good work… we’ll continue following you. ❤️👣

It is nice to see/hear you again, Liz. I love, love this song---the tempo, the message, and her voice delivering beauty and HOPE. And then "Million Miles." The cry in the song, makes it a healing song, and I feel it deeply. Everyone experiences loss--it is the universal commonality in human experience. "Are you friends with stars?" And then her belting.... 💜

Hello, Ellen! I agree, this song is extremely beautiful. And IMO, particularly THIS rendition. First time I heard it I thought it somewhat too slow, but I have awakened, albeit a somewhat slow awakening. So SOMETHING was slow at least 🙂 I just love this tempo and this arrangement. I would have loved to know if this arrangement was hers and hers alone.

@@poolhallshark , I had a similar reaction, but decided that she, like in jazz, pushed it to the edge in the moment. One of her strengths is having internalized jazz principles of performing from a very young age. As she matures, I detect them used in surprising ways as she unites old jazz with contemporary more pop-like sounds. And this is one of her most striking originals. and she may yet vary the performances of this song in other surprising ways. I just love her voice and so much of what she does.
