Liz, this is one of everyone's all time favorites. Short, but oh so sweet. Many of the songs she sang in this Angelina Concert have been isolated on separate video's to make each one of them even more beautiful. "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to you and yours and may the NEW YEAR bring P-E-A-C-E to the world! Yes, it is a time to reflect on what was but we must look forward and face the challenges of what lies ahead. Because of the ability we have to communicate with one another the world is shrinking and the people of the world are understanding that, wherever we are from we are united with the power of love in our hearts. Governments aside, corporate greed aside the power of love is in the shadows right now but it is very much alive and there will be a time when we, the people, understand that we are very much alike in our hearts and no one should be left behind, or forgotten or dismissed as unfortunate. It doesn't mean we will walk around like 'flower children' and hum songs all day. Rather, governments and corporate 'empires' will realize their goals and successes will depend on what they do for the good of the people. Can we continue, as people, in the world as it currently stands, to realize global peace and happiness? No, of course not. Change will be gradual but there will be change. People will begin to share ideas and dreams with each other and every element of life will be brought to the table. Governments will serve the people and protect the people and provide them with support whenever required. Corporations will understand if they do not have the interests of people as their most important productive issues to live up to, their levels of 'success' will be limited. Yes, there will be corporate 'giants' who employ literally millions of people worldwide but their ultimate strength will always depend on their connection to how they treat their employees and consumers. Sorry, Liz, I got carried away. I won't be around when any of this takes place but I want to believe the world's people will live in harmony with one another because of the love they have for each other. Yes, it's very difficult to imagine all of that happening right now but ask yourself, are you and your family (friends and relatives) very different from people living on other parts of the world? Sure, and some people 'need to catch up' but the one element we have in common is, love in our hearts for each other. Love will prevail. Amen.

Angelina sings this so beautiful and smoothly soothingly :-) She always makes it sound easy but what she does is not easy. My guess is that she practices really hard and pushes herself during practice to near performance level. That would fit with all those tiktoks sounding so wonderful. Bobby Venton's song Mr. Lonely came out in 1962 on the "b side" of his album "Roses Red, Violets Are Blue" and was re-released as a single in 1964. It was one of the first Vietnam war protest songs. Distant Drums” was first recorded by Roy Orbison in 1963, but it was Jim Reeves’ version that has endured over the years. It managed to beat off stiff competition from several major artists of the day during its time at the top of the UK chart. All war protest songs for a useless war that took the lives of over 50 thousand men and woman from the US alone, not counting those from all the other countries involved.
