I don't know, Andy. You are one of my most trusted authorities on all things Angelina, but I have to disagree with one thing. While the song is done in a gospel style and has a gospel feel to it, the song is not a gospel song. It's actually an R&B song. That made the song, when originally released by Etta James, a little bit controversial. Given that, I have no doubt Angelina could sing gospel and do it well.

Almost. Anyway, the man loves good music. Dave, they are Norwegians. They tend to be reserved, and wish not to attract attention to themselves. Some know how to surrender to the music. Angelina sure knows, even as a little kid.

@@poolhallshark It is entertaining how very different cultures react. Even within the US itself, different parts of the country are significantly different from one another. Angelina does a magnificent job of touching human emotions. This particular song would have total audience participation in some places in the US. But even the reserved and wonderful people in that audience were nonetheless captivated by the beauty, emotion and soul of Ms. Angie.

I must mildly disagree. 😌Although jazz and blues have antecedents in American Gospel music, Gospel isn’t necessarily in Angelina’s wheelhouse (IMHO). Having said that, Angelina’s wheelhouse IS definitely translating heartfelt emotion into music, and in this, no one compares to her. This was an amazing performance by Angelina, but kudos are especially in order for this “Scandinavian” chorus. They did an outstanding job. ♥️ Having said that, Ilook forward to the day that Angelina performs with an American Gospel choir. The energy would power the world! 😬 🙏 ♥️

This concert was held on the border of Norway and Sweden. Scandinavians are known for being reserved, as you see in the videos of this concert. It's a thing here in Seattle, the home if the US National Nordic Museum.

It's called musical genius, that's not an explanation but it's the truth. Mozart could hold entire symphonies in his head by the age of six. Angelina can hold songs in her head and express them down to the smallest nuance, improvising on them in amazingly beautiful, tasteful ways.

From Iowa, USA; Oh ... WOW❗🙏🤗 1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway. 2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records. 3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music. 4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic. 5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that. 6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old! 7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come. 8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.
