They ain't sisters. This animation take place in a country that basically have "Knights" to fight in arena as sort of like national sports event. Most knights are sponsored by rich and powerful corporation and clubs and games are rigged in their favors. But well a few years ago, a Knight ( the blonde haired knight ) from the Nearl noble family managed to win the sport event for three years straight without any backing from any corporations. The common people love her since she is one of the few remaining Knights who is still clinging to honor, chivalry instead of selling out to corporation. She was then exiled because the corporations doesn't like that. Despite that, the blonde knight inspires many independents knight, and they started joining the sport and tried to make some money or use it to present some causes. The red haired knight is an independent knight from the slums of the cities and she was also inspired by the blonde knight ( if you check the background of the slum she live in, there are posters of the blonde knights). She tried to fight to get some representations / attention to the slums that is full of this rock cancer and well ... corporations don't like that, so they send a hit squad to kill her off. But yea the blonde knight, the knight that inspired her, her idol came in and save her. It is pretty badass.

@@syaondri SPOILER answer Nearl was never infected, her being infected as propaganda from the country. That is why normal Nearl's status were kept secret by Shining if you read her bio. For Nearl the Radiant Light's Bio, it shows that she is uninfected.

it has been quite a while,nice! Btw nobody in this pv are sisters, the red-haired one is Flametail an infected knight, the blonde one is Nearl a former healing defender (alter) and the white one is platinum (you know about her). As for why theyre fighting ill leave it unspoiled for ya and Nearl actually has an operator sister, shes named Blemishine. This event is actually a part 3, because its a sequel to former events Maria Nearl (which focuses on her sister and had a rerun not long before this one) and Pinus Sylvestris (which focuses on Flametail and her infected knights crew, the event was before this one). All 3 events are in order which makes this somewhat of a saga
