Saw them in Newark, NJ on their World Tour. I was right up by the stage that extended into the crowd, had the BEST time! My ticket also gave me the pre-concert Sound Check and the post-concert Send Off where the girls come by before they leave the venue and take pictures and talk to everyone for a few minutes. They're very sweet offstage, humble and relatable.

@@edhyh1 About two hours before the tickets went on sale I opened ten windows on my computer for the website that was selling the tickets. When they opened it up the screens froze due to the millions of people trying to get tickets. The site crashed a few times but I kept reloading the screens. Finally, after about twenty minutes I got in. I got a VIP ticket, which cost 408.50 US but after ridiculous taxes, service charges and 2 day delivery the total cost was 519.00 US. At the concert I was given a lanyard with a VIP tag, a BLACKPINK tote bag with some stickers and two bracelets that allowed access to the Sound Check and Send Off. I stood on line for hours outside then was let in for the Sound Check, which was great and intimate, just the people with Floor tickets were there (I gave Rosé a gift there). Then we were led back outside and waited in line again until they let everyone in. I got to the front of the stage but was literally elbowed back a row, people were a bit psycho and didn't care. I was OK, I was in the second row of people. I wasn't able to leave for the restroom or get water, I'd never get back to where I was. After the show we were led to a private roped off area in the concert hall. After 30 minutes BLACKPINK came out dressed all casual. They chatted with us, took selfies, accepted some of the stuffed animals and gifts and thanked us. After about ten minutes they left and we were led out.

Their backing band is lit. There are some remixes where they're featured much more. These girls are born performers - they always seem happiest when they're doing these remixes and they can just run around and interact with the crowd and not have to worry about choreo and just sing.

Just FYI. Whenever Blackpink do a concert in Japan, they sing in Japanese. And the rap parts are done in English instead of Japanese.

I've seen them live twice! Once from the back of the crowd in Manchester, and once in London on front row. I got to see their sound check and then watch the whole show from up close. The London concert was one of the best nights of my life. You can't imagine what a Blackpink concert is like until you get into that arena. It's not just the girls themselves. Blinks are balls of ENERGY! I never thought I'd hear an arena in England filled with deafening Korean singing from the crowd before... and that was before the concert even started! So much HYPE!

One of the reasons their live shows are so lit is because they have an incredible touring band, called The Band 6. You can't see them because they are behind the back panels. If you watch the Coachella, or The Show Concert performances you get to see them.

I was at that concert at Tokyo Dome. It was fire!!! They also do solo songs in between the sets. Jisoo's "Clarity" cover is amazing!!! BTW, you may notice they sang different lyrics. They released Japanese versions of some their songs. BTS does the same since Japan is a huge market for K-pop.

You mention nothing is like a live performance and yes, you’re 1000% correct. You should watch any yg artist old and new live and you will not be dissatisfied ever. Yg artists have been trained to have perfect stage presence.
