At no point in his career has Jaylen Brown been better than Tatum. He might shoot, and finish, better inside the arc, but everything runs through Tatum. Once again he's leading the team in pts, reb, and assists this year. Only Jokic is doing that.

He has his moments. There’s definitely been many games where he played better than Tatum and won us the game in that way. Tatum still facilitates the game big even when he’s not scoring … But the idea that Jaylen brown never plays better than Tatum-that’s absurd. Tatum is better but Brown can step up any game if Tatum doesn’t. Which is why Brown won Conference finals mvp and finals mvp.

@@GourSmith the tatum vs brown debate is more about tatum than it is brown. Tatum is obviously better,- the stats and informed eye test support it, but Brown becoming a bonifide top 15 player last year means in any given game or series he can easily be the best player on the floor.

It's people who either don't watch the games or don't know basketball. JB is great. In my opinion one of the top 10 players in the NBA but Tatum is top 3 ino. It's just easy to hate on him because he's a Celtic. If he played for any other team, everybody would love him and even the haters know that.

He was last year and the one before that. People don't realize even in the playoffs tatum led the team in points rebounds and assists...only person to do that in the finals and not win the mvp....people use that as the reason he wasn't the best player.
