I remember how excited Kobe was getting Dwight to the team, he thought the Lakers were back in Championship contending team… as soon as Kobe called him, all the disappointments started to happen! 😂 Told Kobe he wasn’t gonna practice bcuz he wanted to enjoy his off season,didn’t want to stay late for practices and didn’t want to practice on his day off. Kobe just gave up on him and let his anger go for him and was just waiting for him to leave the team. The only time Dwight played was when Kobe didn’t, otherwise he always had fake injuries. He wasn’t motivated,wasn’t willing to put in extra work and didn’t care about winning a Championship… what would Phil Jackson do for him? Especially since he was a super stricken coach and only cared about Championships. (Besides not getting along with Jim and wanting $10million, the Lakers already had 4 Coaches that they were already paying that season and were in shambles)
