i am a edm type of person just what frosty did but damn robin's 2nd round was majestically great i can feel the emotions everytime i listen to it

Incase you didn't know the "boat" reference is ment to be about there setup. Frosty is using 3 devices so he has a bigger "boat", Robin is using 1 device so he has a smaller "boat". In the fist round robin was saying he feels like Frosty isn't a real looper because he is using 3 devices and focusing on his other 2 devices and not really using the new loopstation mechanics. Whereas Robin is only using the new loopstation which makes him feel like a real looper.♥️

I hate how no one has any knowledge about the loopstation and gives half knowledge to others. Frosty is using Loopstation, Helix Line 6 and Launchpad. Only the loopstation and Helix count as devices so he is basically using 2 devices and the so called "3rd device" is a midi controller which is not considered as a device, it cannot make any affects of its own. The Midi controller has no extra functionality and it used for shortcuts of the loopstaion, so you can assign a few buttons of the loopstation to the launchpad. Also the device M-Age uses is also a MidI-controller, all that midi controller does is saves 2-3 seconds.

@@Garro0 I see this opinion all the time but I don’t get why the advantage is so underrated. It’s allowed so who cares, he isn’t breaking rules by using it. But a MIDI-Controller in a comp like this isn’t just 2-3 seconds advantage, it’s taking away a lot of the risk of human error. Sure you still have to get good at using it but it just adds to the issue of his rounds being repeatable with settings and Robins requiring some amazing vocal skills.

This is late but what devices frosty is using is the mk2 (the one in the middle) the launchpad (the one on the left) and the helix (the one of the right). Another fun fact there was this lil debate going on that frosty wasn’t allowed to use three devices cause it was limited to 2. But the launchpad acts sort of a shortcut and easier way to use the helix’s features.

I’ve watched these rounds at least 20 times-Robin’s second round an additional 30-and I never realized those were animal sounds Robin was making in his first round. (In my defense, I heard nej (no in Swedish) instead of neigh, but that’s bizarre, considering he’s IN A BARN.) Thanks for saying it out loud. 🤣🤣🤣

The first time I watched it, I said frosty wins, but after repeating it a couple of times I think robin wins This reminds me of b-art vs d-low, first time watching it I said that b-art won, but after repeating it a couple of times, I could see how d-low was better So I would say that since its an online battle not a gbb and there is a judging system, then robin may win, but if it was gbb, frosty would have won
