Soyeon has been working with her girls for a little over 4 years now. It's cool how she coaches each singer in different ways and doesn't have a one size fits all method. Soyeon adjusts her own coaching style for what works best with each girl and is able to get unique colors from each singer. This sort of goes back to when they were rookies when singing teachers were teaching the girls to all sound the same and Soyeon put a stop to that. She wanted each of them to have their own individual voice color.

Soyeon is trully an amazing producer. All the little things that you notice and talk about really makes more interesting to watch and more easy to follow. Thanks again for an amazing reaction!

Soyeon said they did the recording for 5 days. And then she said surprisingly it’s the shortest recording among all the songs they did so far.

Did she said how long it took them to record an entire album?

OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY FKING ONE!! Like, everything you said about the interaction of Soyeon with the girls and their faces and expresions was something I thought. I'm a new nevie (G-Idle stan) and I come from rock and punk music fandom, so I'm not that used to idolize artists. I prefer seeing them as persons and I love trying to 'decode' korean idols relationships and thoughts, because they often tend to pretend or fake feelings and actions hahaha It's pretty difficult to know an idol's core with the material they give us And here I see how Soyeon gets along with the girls. Of course I noticed her bond with Yuqi, It's one of my favorite things bc I love how they understand each other. Like, in the Hwaa chinese version recording, or the way Yuqi produced Dark (xfiles) drunk and Soyeon wanted to keep it so arranged a few things. They're both composers and producers, and I love how they understand each other without effort. Besides from their idol funny personality, besides from all the fanservice, Soyeon is a hard working person. She's a perfectionist and likes to get the job done (or at least that's what I get from their videos). Like, I know she tries to get along with their teammates, but it's pretty obvious that she's just here to work and climb the hill of fame. It's like when you have a very good relationship with your boss, but even if it's the best relationship, it's still your boss. That's the way I see Soyeon's relationship with the girls. Of course she cares about them, of course she get's along with them. But even if she does, she still sees them from above, from another pov. And I don't feel that vibe from her friendship with Yuqi. I see them more like a partnership, I really like that. I loved your reaction, thank you =))

Oh Soyeon can definitely sing. Her PD101 mentor said she should just sing and not rap actually. You should listen to her cover of It Rained All Day. That shit was amazing. Her high notes were amazing.

Soyeon's ability to coach her members is just amazing. Knowing how to coach each member specifically in unique ways. Like how she has Shuhua 'hit' the beat. Her jokingly be serious is such a great thing to see because everyone knows she means well in what she says and coaches. (G)I-Dle is one of the best to this date

When it came out I've been searching daily if someone reacted to that. Love that type of insight. They also had a behind the scenes recording of the Chinese version of 'Hwaa'. Yuqi wrote the Chinese lyrics and was in charge of the recording session. It was interesting to see how they worked out trying to match the Chinese pronunciation for the melody. Soyeon and Yuqi had a lot of figuring out to do and going back and forth for the translation.

Shuhua has difficulty pronouncing some words because she is taiwanese and has a bit of an accent.
