Portugal has strong metal bands in Portugal as well, only not promoted via mainstream: Moonspell being the most acknowledged one (they are amazing!), Ava Inferi, Tarantula, Wako, Inner Blast, Dogma, Terror Empire, Attick Demons, etc. I hope Henka will win (though judges and mainstream public will go for the same old same old). (And no, her style is not similar to Linkin Park, her music much more like industrial metal, metalcore, alternative meta, arena rock, screamo.

I would like to point out some thoughts about henka's song: Music is about conveying a message or a feeling. Heavy metal music is a very rich genre and probably the one that has the most subgenres. It is definitely the best genre to express feelings of anger, release tension, etc. Songs are created with a sense of connection between the different sections, and some parts must repeat to make sense and create familiarity. Chorus exist for that reason...to be memorable...so it is good practice to repeat them, even better if they are an earworm, such as the refrain from this song. It only happens twice in a three minute song that has multiple sections, follows a different pattern, and has different arrangements throughout. I don't see anything to complain about it other then personal taste.

Portugal usually doesn't do well with the televote in the final, Henka would definitely be the better choice for them if they want to do well with the public and not just the juries.

Fernando Daniel has more views not for the "right" reasons... he is more known than the others competitors, he has a huge following in Portugal so thats why people want to see what he produced :p Josh or Henka ftw for me

Fernanando Daniel is amazing, but this song could be so much better 😞 I prefer to send something diferent this year like HENKA then the same old balads that Portugal send every year! I suporte Henka if she does an amazing stage preform! 👌

Please.. comparing these two. What is the doubt? Henka is explosive, will fight and destroy the competition. It seems the girl reacting is afraid our song to win. The other song, monotonous, if it was the winner, will end in the last position.

Well,Henka has 2 problems for me. First: is not in portuguese and i do jot like it. Second: Too much screaming for me ! About Fernando , well, he is a stablish Singer in Portugal , but , Josh song "trusteza" is far better than this two . But jury will choose Fernando , cause in portugal is like that. The contest is not very fair simetimes .

Ballads have gone through to the final many times through televote alone. It all depends how they are performed and staged. Henka is my preference though as its something exciting coming from Portugal who are usually one of my least favourite ESC countries.
