I think the whole Joyuriz thing wasn't because fans were confusing them, but there were multiple instances where articles had photos of Yena or Chaewon as Yuri and it became more of a meme than an actual confusion.

When I first got into K-pop 8 years ago, I had a heck of a time telling Seohyun, Yuri, and Yoona of SNSD apart. I look back on that now and can't believe I had such difficulty with it, but there's actually a lot of science involving facial recognition in humans and machines and how errors are made if a person or software doesn't have enough practice with different face shapes, features, and skin tones. It's why nearly all people struggle at first telling people apart that aren't of their ethnic group or aren't commonly found where they live. Their brains just aren't wired for it due to a lack of practice, but pretty quickly you start noticing those little things.

I remember when I first watched their debut with La Vie en Rose, I was so confused between distinguishing the Joyuriz. As soon as I heard Yuri's voice in La Vie en Rose though, I knew she would be my bias and she still is

YEAH KANGCHAEN ARE SO COOL!! SO GOOD!! BEST BABIES!! hyewon is my ult bias (along with eunbi, but that's neither here nor there) and chaeyeon is also up there, but i'm definitely ot12 biased in a similar fashion as you. not enough hyewon love goes around imo, so it's cool having someone else sing her praises. she's really such a relatable and down-to-earth idol, and she works really hard and is super persistent with learning and bettering herself, and yeah; she's really cool. also!! "chaos crew" is known as suspenderz line to most wizones and i'm pretty sure there are youtube comps of them being Pure Chaos In Human Form if you want to watch those. they're all chaotic on their own and in their own ways, but when they join forces it's a wrap... as many other commenters have said, they're the reason many of the izone vlives never see the light of day (or, you know, reupload). also just wanted to say thanks for all of your commentary about them, too; i think a lot of reaction channels kind of just sit and watch and laugh and don't really say much or include their genuine thoughts or opinions the same way you do. it's always fun watching people get into them!

I am a carat and when I started getting to know iz*one I didn't think they are THAT chaotic, but even seventeen are quiet compared to iz*one :D They are the best girls~ and for the bias it is really difficult..but for me, it is Yujin since produce48, but I change bias wreckers every comeback
