Oh, Nate, Nate, Nate! This reaction was so wonderful. Nothing about vocal techniques, just evoking how she cuts through the busy restless thoughts and reaches something deep inside. “I’m just way more in my heart than I was a minute ago” was such a great way to describe the effect she has. I love how you let some silence hang there and played it again. Nate, I understand that you have a life to live but I’m so sorry I won’t be hearing as many reactions from you! I actually did a video about you when you came back from your long hiatus, alerting people that a great, authentic reactor was back.. She is such an impesario and the process of singing is so easy for her that she has time to imbue and interpret the meaning as she sings. It’s incredible. She’s truthfully conveying a meaning she sees. It inspires us to rethink our misconceptions especially about the big questions we don’t even know our heart is asking. Oh man I can stand the album. It’ll be such a treasure. It is not going to be a commodity or something to show off but a person to share. And some people are not ready for it at all. Some reactions I have gotten is that she is somehow “too” whatever which is ridiculous.

Hi Nate great reactions you have, loved this song. My intro to Angelina was kinda back to front, as I don't do reaction videos she was not suggested to me, but I was a big Billie Eilish fan, and would look for any videos about her, but while I was browsing you tube I kept seeing Angelina's face popping up, and I never clicked on any because I thought oh she is just a child. Then one night I saw a video of Angelina pop up and it was in black and white, which as a photographer, it intrigued me. I remember I was feeling a bit down that week, and anyway, I thought I have to see what all the fuss was about with this young girl right? The song was Million Miles in studio. I clicked on it and by half way through it I was in Floods of tears!!!! I was hooked! The voice she had was fantastic, the lyrics were sad but hopeful, her emotion while singing was palpable. Second song was, I put a spell on you, from then on it was all Angelina! could not get enough of her singing, photos of her, Anything I could get my hands on lol. I still like Billie Eilish, but Angelina is a whole other level. I have done quiet a few videos of Angelina since then :) There is something real special about Angelina and she hasn't even put her first album out yet!!! Her covers are better than the originals in my opinion. How many times can you say that a cover is better than the original?? not that often! But Angelina not only makes every song her own she more often than not takes the song, and it belongs to her now! Well you know what I mean. :) Got a like and a subscribe from me!

Nate, it never stops! Encore !!!!!!!! Of course, you know all of us can listen to this 10 times in a row and then say, "Oh, it's over so soon?" Listen to whoever you want to. There are so many wonderful artists in the world today, particularly young ones for you to listen to. However, I believe it will reinforce the feelings you have for Angelina. Nate..I was driving home from work today..long drive..had been listening to music for at least an hour..thoroughly enjoying the drive..then I thought, how bit of Angelina? I put on “Lost On You”..You see, I normally don’t drive and listen to Angie..not safe! But I know the original and I’m not particularly struck by it..I’ll be safe I thought! within 20 seconds I had to pull over..I couldn’t see properly for the tears 😂 can you make it make sense for me because I’m lost on her! When Rusty converted the Tik Tok video into a YT video, he zoomed in on her face to make it even more emotional. Hello Nate :-) So good to see you again. This was hands down your best reaction to Angelina to date IMO. Agelina's vocal skills and techniques are very apparent, but THAT'S not what Angelina is mainly about. She's about emotions. Her ability to sing directly to your heart and soul. Of course that is tied to her vocal abilities as well (obviously). She's got one of the biggest "IT"-factors I have ever seen or heard. And so, I love the fact that you used this reaction to speak to those things. I loved what you said about her music allowing your brain(which is YOU, except for the soul) to relax and find some peace. I believe she does that to everybody. I'm not a particularly Christian person, but I still loved one commenter's comment that that "IT"-factor maybe was your subconsciousness connecting with the God particle. Who knows, right ? Fabulous reaction Nate. It is truly all about how Angelina makes us feel. Like yourself, I used KZbin for social interaction during the pandemic. It began when I discovered Angelina right at the very start of the pandemic. This depth of feeling you are now experiencing, is LIFE. It is clear and need not be pushed aside .. it shows us who we are. It is partly because of Angelina, partly because of covid, partly because of the world-wide sorrow and grief we all feel at this time more than ever since I've been alive. I am 71 next week and this is the deepest collective grief I have felt in my life. Some people need to go to the opposite emotion when they touch grief and some want to learn from it .. sitting right in the center of it and feeling it fully and deeply. It takes courage and it is a gift you are giving yourself. Having your loved one responding to this time in the opposite way is probably helpful as far as balance goes .. and you can be grateful in the deepest way that you can see both fully .. and be in the depth of that learning at this time in your life. I appreciate you sharing that so honestly with us. I believe that these bits and pieces that she gives us are not performances in any way but it is Angelina in the middle of the night most of the time, feeling her life, feeling her age and singing her truth. They are raw and brave and so so beautiful. Yes, it makes us want the whole song .. but we shouldn't miss the gift she is offering .. of her raw heart, her loneliness, her desire, her wisdom, her SELF .. what an amazing gift she gives us. When she sang the bit of House of the Rising Sun a few months ago, she added in a note, that it was five o'clock in the morning and this is what she had for us. That's when I really got it. I came looking for all the really emotional ones she had posted recently and started to truly FEEL her truth .. her deep beauty and courage to truly be with every emotion that these songs hold. It's not only a gift .. it's a lesson .. a profound lesson from a 16 year old wise woman. We should indeed feel our lives completely .. try to stop ourselves from editing or correcting how we feel. I am talking to myself as I write this, Nate, not just to you or to all the angels. Can I allow myself to feel my life and own the depth of my heart, of my character, of myself .... as she does, every night perhaps .. day also .. those Instagrams where she's walking through the streets of Santa Monica singing old jazz standards and current pop .. and she's exploring every single one .. there is nothing frivolous about her singing .. she goes deeply and that is why we can go deeply. She is never in busy streets .. it seems she's mostly alone with her cell phone extended in front of her with her left or right hand .. she's exploring .. and therefore we can do the same with her. Your "reacting" is right up my alley, Nate ... and your sensibiity. I so appreciate you. The way, after she finishes singing, you allow a silence ..that is so worthy of what she just shared and it helps me get my breath back. I appreciate that. I feel you are blessed to have your lady experiencing this complex time in a different way .. because she also is teaching you .. and you her, by being true to your Selves. Hello Nate. It was great to see you again. I've missed your heart-felt reactions. This type of song hits right in the middle of her wheelhouse. She should be singing these types of songs all the time. I'm with you in that I hope she releases the full versions of some of these songs she's been doing on IG and TikTok. I listen to this particular video at least a 4-5 times a week. "It Quiets Me" is a perfect expression of what Angelina does. This was the second performance by her that completely _destroyed_ me. The first happened to be another Adele song, "When We Were Young" (live-in-concert version, at Prøysenhuset in 2019, which I first heard almost a year after it happened). To say that they "reduced me to tears" would be a ridiculous understatement. But it's hard to pinpoint exactly _why_ they had such a strong effect on me. It's not the emotion, per se, that she put into each song - it's… well… _everything_ . (Valerie on the Vocal Splendor Studios channel likes to talk about "negative space" when reacting to Angelina [that being the space "between the notes", as it were]. This one, in particular, has so much negative space you could drive several Mack trucks through it.🙃) I feel like it's going to take me forever to finish this comment if I try to stick to a coherent "narrative". So allow me to just leave you with some random thoughts that went through my mind while listening to one or the other performance, or both: * If she's this good now… * If she can sound this good singing live / in a TikTok… * Adele is pretty much exactly the kind of superstar Angelina has wanted to be for at least half her life, and she's already better than Adele. * Can Republic Records possibly not eff this up?[+] * Can she possibly become the superstar she wants to be (or however she might put it nowadays) while avoiding all the pitfalls that took down so many of the singers she has covered over the years? [+] My prescription for not effing this up: (1) Give her "all the money". (2) Give her whatever other assistance she asks for. (3) Otherwise leave her the eff alone. (4) Take whatever product she gives you, promote the ess out of it, and distribute it to the world. (5) Everybody's happy.

Adele and Angelina both adore Amy Winehouse. I believe the genesis for this song is something Amy did on her Grammy Award Winning Album, Back to Black. There was a song on the album called 'Love Is A Losing Game', and as well written as this is, it in no way reaches the genius level of Amy's lyrics that George Michael believed was the best written heartfelt ballad he had ever heard. He would even cover it on stage when he did concerts. Hope Angelina does it one day, for with her vocal ability I'm sure it would be a big hit.

Nate, I always look forward to hearing what you have to say, especially when it comes to your interaction with an AJ masterpiece. Even your silence is palpable. Loved your reaction Nate. You mentioned you'd buy her album for all your friends. It made me realize that giving someone an album is a rare gift now. Usually you only get a streaming link. If you give someone an album today, it's a way of saying "Hey, you REALLY want to check this out!". You gave me some ideas, thank you!

Hi Nate. Greetings from Trinidad. Beautiful, but not unexpected, reaction when it comes to Angelina. To be clear, I adore Adele. She is a phenomenal songwriter, singer and performer, one of the greatest ever. The difference is that when Adele sings a song, my mind is blown away. On the other hand, when Angelina sings a song, my heart and soul are blown away. Way, way more than ANY other artist I have ever experienced, Angelina has the ability to effortlessly squeeze every atom of emotion and feeling out of every song she sings, and gently deliver it straight into our hearts and souls. How can we NOT want to listen to her, not just once or twice, but over and over and over again, all day long? My greatest hope for her is that the entire world would wake up to her, and understand and appreciate the immutable fact that she is one of the greatest gifts that God has ever bestowed upon this earth. What an incomparable blessing she is!

Hi Nate. Giving viewers a head's up as to where the music video reaction starts is a reflection of your personality, an awareness, you're not the only one in the room and all should be considered. There are only a handful of reactors who can pull this off. Personally, I never skip to the music reaction part. In most cases, I've heard a particular performance fifty times before you post a reaction, so, it's the icing on the cake for me when it comes 'round. The intentional crack in Angelina's voice at the end of this performance brings it all together for me. Be healthy and happy, cheers!
