As much as Mamamoo are vocal goddesses, for me what makes them most "Mamamoo" is when they are like, "don't take this too seriously - let's have some fun." I think Solar and Moonbyul have been really capturing that, and it makes me so happy.

Fun fact : monnbyul and solar said that they don't like how their agency imposes genders so they rerecorded dangdang for their music shows to replace the "shy boy" 's with "shy girl" 's

These inclusive queens rerecorded the song and changed shy boy to shy girl and performed it at a couple of music shows. I love them!

You really can't watch this and not bop to it with a giant smile on your face. Solar said in an interview that they were really trying to go back to the "Yes I Am" era of playfulness and fun, to give off that human vitamin energy. Smiling and bopping along with you in your reaction, I think they really nailed it with this. Fun fact is that they also revealed Dangdang was a song that was originally supposed to be the title track on their Yellow Flower album, but due to Solar's disc issues at that time, they ended up going with Starry Night night instead as the choreo was more manageable. Kind of blows my mind that one of their iconic songs was a replacement song. I'm so glad they dug this back up and released it. It's so much fun. The other songs on the album is also really good. I think for now, my favorite is I Like This, but Dangdang gets better and better with every listen. Thanks for reacting!

Even their fun unserious song is beautifully made, the details instrumentation,arrangement and vocals technique and direction are so them.

Every listen to Dang Dang I just like it better and better. There is an acoustic version of Save Me that is even better than this MV. Lyrics are by Giuk from Onewe and Moonbyul. I think you can see his hand in the astronomical metaphors. I believe JJ did the choreo here as she did on Act 1, Scene 1. Does anyone else think of Hwasa's corridor of infinite mirrors from I'm a B, when Moonbyul is in the ballpit corridor? I'm also sure they are referencing Don't Be Happy with the blue and yellow rooms and outfits.

Love the album so much! Save me and dangdang are so good and the one I'm in love with the most is starry sea. The intro and i like that are so fun as well, ugh such a good album really. And I'm so glad you watched the suit dance as well, I'm obsessed they look so good

i feel you so hard - wheein my bias, byul is my bias wrecker, but solar absolutely comes for my throat, too (even though, like you said, i love them all and they are all amazingly talented women). 'dangdang' makes me so happy :D

JJ choreographed it and was in the MV but for some reason hasn't been with them for promotions. I agree that this is a great song, turns out it was in the running for the title song for Yellow Flower album, but every time I listen to Starry Sea, I ask myself if I like it better. This is a complete album with four terrific songs. If the intro was a complete song, it would be up there too.

MAMAMOO+ worked out well for me. My bias was always Moonbyul, with Solar as bias wrecker. So naturally them being a duo is so perfect for me. I guess it doesn't hurt the two seem to be like sisters irl too. Off topic... has Moonbyul ever acted cuter than this in any other MV? (Just so we're on the same page, I love Hwasa and Wheein as well, this isn't me putting them down. I just wanted to appreciate this couple.)
