I keep hearing that she belted the chorus on this album...that's a whole vibe. Mariah deserved album of the year for this one. The Grammys are hateful.

I can proudly say that this album was what turned me into a Lamb! Shake It Off could have gone to #1 but We Belong Together blocked it and it ended up peaking at #2. I’m excited for your reaction to E=MC2 because this the album that I go back to listen to the most. There are actually 2 bonus tracks to this album Heat and 4real4real.

As someone that grew up loving Mariah and who stood by her unwaveringly through Glitter and Charmbracelet, TEOM was a MOMENT. A TRIUMPH. I can’t even begin to describe how it felt to witness the absolute whirlwind that was this album. It was redemption. It was vindication. It was chaos in the best way possible. I also got a radio DJ fired for her during this era on the air. WHEW what a time to be alive 😂

They were making fun of her live on air and saying that she fucks barn yard animals and that her career is over and they refuse to play It’s Like That cuz they want to see her fail again. I decided to call in and they put me on the air and were fighting with me live and so I got everyone from both Mariah’s official message board (it was POPPIN) back then and my forum (The Butterfly Room, the ORIGINAL and notorious one, not one of the cheap copycats that followed). Everyone was calling in and messaging the station and fighting with them on air. I reported it to the station manager and had everyone send complaint emails as well to the point their email was full. They were fired the next Monday morning. It was some irrelevant station somewhere that was on the list of stations the lambs had to place requests to support her singles so I couldn’t even begin to tell you which station it was. The lambs of my generation did not play. We worked out butts off and got her to where she is today. We were a menace. What a time lol

Say Somethin’ was meant to be the first single and then LA Reid told Mariah to go back and work with Jermaine Dupri because he loved the other tracks they worked on, and they came up with It’s Like That and We Belong Together

This album is Mariah’s Comeback Album and also Mariah’s Most Cohesive Albums (Especially with the Ultra Platinum Edition) in the 21st Century, it was a Dance Oriented Party type Album, and with this Album it Explores a more Lively Sounds, the album Mainly Focus on Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dance Pop and Soul Genre with a lot of Old School Sounds and Influences in it like the 70’s but with a more Modern Twist during that Time, the album was so Fresh and so Current during that Time 💙 it was an album with the Perfect Amount of Ballads and also Perfect Amount of Up Tempo Styles Songs with Dance, R&B and Hip-Hop Beats, Songs like It’s Like That, Shake It Off, Say Somethin, Get Your Number, Your Girl, To The Floor, Secret Love, One and Only Part 2, Makin It Last All Night and We Belong Together Remix, these are some of the Best Up Tempo Dancy type Songs that Mariah had made in Years 💙 And Her Vocals in this Album She didn’t Hold Back, She let Loose, Her Vocals was On Fire Throughout the Album 🔥🔥🔥 When it comes to Slow Tempo and Ballads in these Album, Vocally they are very Challenging and Mariah’s really Sang Her Ass off in a lot of the Ballads in this Album, Some of them still Hits Hard 💙 Hands Down this is Mariah’s Best Album of the 21st Century and also this is Arguably the Best Comeback Album from a Female Artist 😊👑 Great Reaction as always 👍🏼 I always gets Excited when You React to Mariah’s Album 😊❤️

The last 2 bonus songs were specialty made for Japan then added for US for her career 30th anniversary so they are sounds that were popular in Japan at the time.

I FORGOT about the last two tracks. She added those from the vault. They weren't on the ultra platinum version until a couple years ago! Two of the Music Box tracks I had only youtube or downloading to listen to. Everything Fades away and Do you think of me were also added around the same time. She did this for a couple other albums too. Around the time she released the rarities album is when all this secret old music was released.

Fun fact, Mariah wanted the albums first single to be "Stay the night" but after seeing the songs that leaked on the Internet showed it's like that being one of the fans favorites... they went with that. I'm not mad at it although STN is my fave song on the album.

37:29 sprung sounds like a Halloween song kinda in a good way like I love it the production was very random compared to the rest of the tracks but the bonus tracks were my favorite ones 😭

Great reaction video !! Yea this album is 🔥 track after track !! When I went thru a break up. This album was hard to listen to but so relatable. Especislly circles. “I love it’s like that “cause it’s great song to play when ur getting ready to before go out to party or a club. “Say something “. Is a sexy song. Che k out the video. They filmed in Paris. 🔥. And “get ur number “the video sexy too. “Mine again. “ Such a great R&B song. But “ Fly like a bird. Is so inspirational especislly. Goin the a break up or pain. Those years there were so many leaks, you need to know that before mimi project singles launched, stay the night rumoured to be first single then the fake instrument al of it spreaded all over online music community. Then it changed to say something and to the floor with real leaks. We fans thought they were soso tracks. We were like okay, maybe the popularity is gonna be like charm. But when it's like that leaked, this was like a fan bomb. The first single must be like this. Then it's finally announced as first single. I have read from somewhere that mc did all leaks herself coz this was first time la reid worked with her as exec producer and I guess they wanted to know what's the fans really like at a time.
