You tell no LIES. This from someone who has flown to hear her live now 3 times. This is real, it's not recording magic! She is of the same tier as the Whitney's Mariahs and Celines! I will die on that hill as a truth! Live tells the tale and Morissette is all that those in the know say. One of the best of her generation! Its not just the vocals its the presence, delivery, command up there with the best! It's interesting that you mention Barbara Streisand, because her version of "Moon River" is another of my favorites. I think I'll have to send in a Patreon request (rare move on my part) to react to her rendition of "No More Tears" another Streisand classic. I think Ariana did a duet with Streisand recently and that was the song. Morissette could definitely hang with Streisand! Thank you for continuing to share and promote Morissette on your channel so positively! So entertaining to watch!

Never in my life I care so much about a Singer. Ever since I move here in North America 39 years ago. In relation to the five Super Diva’s. I did not care about them, for me any music that sounded very good that’s all I care. I even got spoiled on the auto tune stuff music technology , I never care all about upcoming multi talented because they’re not going to be as good , Like Celine Dion, Whitney H , Aretha Franklin , Mariah Carey and Barbara S . Until the outbursts of the ( Covid 19) going through KZbin here she’s MORISSETTE AMON aka Asias Phoenix. I feel guilty because I was born in Cebu City Philippines , and i don’t follow music but i listen to all types of music and like so.Also don’t really pay attention to vocals as long as they have a nice voice that’s all i care, because for me they’re not going to be as good as Thee Five Super Divas. Then MORISSETTE singing Run To You ASAP vs Segment that changed my prospective because i did really like Whitney H voice this girl sang the song on my opinion that way better than Whitney. I became her fan Morissette I’m forever be your loyal fans.💯

Adonis tobanda and Kiko salaza are her instrumentlists in this video, Adonis is her musical director, also a member of 3rd AVE, usahay is an old famous 60s Filipino classic song, moon River was originally done by Audrey Hepburn from the film breakfast at Tiffany's, made more famous by Andy Williams in the 60s, Morissette in my own humble opinion has surpassed all the greats, she's such a unbelievably MAGNIFICENT ARTIST, she takes everything to another level, so much so the original becomes a distant memory, for instance, I thought I heared the best rendition of NOW I AM TELLING YOU by Jennifer halliday, when Morissette done it in her MORISSETTE MADE CONCERT in her home coming concert in CEBU, she just made a great song the greatest vocal of That song, she's just a once in lifetime experience 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

I would love the Barbara Streisand duet myself, that would B epic! But ur other duet wish probably won't happen (sorry, that's another story). This is another example that Mowie is a true artist/vocalist/story teller/performer! Very rare right now to find a singer that can cover so many genres as Morissette! She can sing anything from a soft ballad to pop to musicals to worship to light rock. There are only a hand full of singers from past to present that can do what this girl does. I totally agree with your statement that she is in the same class as Whitney, Streisand, Carey and Dion. I grew up following Whitney, her first album blew my mind! I fell in love with her voice immediately. She was untouchable in her early years of her career. I was lucky enough to watch her live at her concert in the eighties when she was at her prime and Grammys and AMA were falling into her lap. I was also lucky enough to witness Streisand live at her concert in the early nineties and listening to her live was just something everyone that truly appreciate true natural vocal agility should experience. Morissette is in the same class as these two. She gives me the same spine tingling feeling when I hear her voice. It’s very hard to pin point exactly how I feel when I listen to Morissette. Every true divas have their own distinct and uniqueness to their voice. I mean she’s so soothing and her tone is just beautiful. I can listen to her everyday and I do!! Her voice is like a drug .... I’m addicted to it and cannot get enough of it. I truly believe her world recognition is just around the corner. She’s only 25 and in her prime. I've listened to that song since childhood as my father would make me repeat that song endlessly on the LP records 33! Agree flawlessly executed and on point with her to perform with Streisand! She executes with all the emotions to capture the message of any song as of she first released it herself! She draws you in on any performance....so captivating ! Usahay (meaning Sometimes or occasionally) is a classic Visayan folk love song from the early 70s made famous in Cebu province south Philippines where Morissette hails from. I lived in cebu city for 2 years and there are lots of amazing hillbilly singers in the countryside on there more than the sophisticated ones in the city.

This was made during the lockdown period in our country. It shows the creativity of Dave because this was all done online. Adonis and Kiko performed their parts, so did Mori. Then Dave combined them all. She and Dave were very productive during the pandemic and released many covers from their recording studio at home. Even her Stages Broadway performances were online. Usahay is a Visayan folk song. Many artists have performed this especially our Visayan and Cebuano artists like Pilita, Dulce and Mori.
