Here she’s playing two characters, I think one is the girl of a famous man and the other is a hooker. Both don’t seem to enjoy their lives. When she sees the hooker and see how much she looks like her and how her man treat her she wants to help but she can’t. The hooker’s dead probably because of her man so the other one takes her place and kills him to revenge the other one. Thanks for your reaction its good to see people reacting to Mylene’s videos when they don’t know about her. You should watch the intro of last show cause she is best known for being the queen of entrances, it’s called « coming from the vortex / interstellaires » or the intro of her 2006 avant que l’ombre concert « intro / peut être toi » those two videos makes you understand why she’s so powerfull ! I totally agree. Mylene has a meaning in every frame and in every word! Cynthia, her world is very deep. There is a lot of sex, love, mysticism, death, reflections on religion, on the imperfection of the world. She writes the lyrics are full of metaphors. She is also an icon of the LGBT community. My interpretation of the clip: There is a rich and famous woman and a prostitute. In the end the man we see kills the prostitute. The rich woman discovers this and decides to sell the prostitute. Guys, i'm french and I can explain the song. It's the history of a talented woman who choosed the sad way to be prostitute in california, she got L. A in overdose because she's drogued everyday, and she's getting mistreated by her mac (don't know if it's the right word), and he finally killed her, lyrics : "my love, my wesson, my artifice, the heat of the barrel is like a symphony" And when she sees herself in the mirror It's like she's seeing herself if she wouldn't have chosen that way, It's like both of her seeing the other one once their both dead. attention cynthia with the translators! without fluency in French, you cannot understand the subtlety of many Myléne songs. His texts are filled with metaphors, double meanings and allusions to things known. sometimes also it changes 1 or 2 words in a sentence and the meaning of the sentence changes ... the translator cannot translate that.
