Something that really sets NCT apart is the difficulty of their songs (127's title tracks in particular).The fact that you can't find many covers of their title tracks shows just how talented you have to be to pull them off well. It's also hard to recreate their sound because of the distinct combination of their voices. I think this is in big part because of Haechan, especially in NCT DREAM, as his voice tends to dominate the choruses of their songs, giving them a very unique vibe. Haechan probably has the most unique and beautiful vocal tone I've ever heard, and he's actually the reason I got into NCT in 2018 after hearing his short, yet impactful, part in Touch. Although he shines most in DREAM, his voice adds a special something to 127's songs. If you listen to more of their songs and b-sides, you'll notice that he often starts or ends the songs because his voice tends to draw people in.

As far as I know, most of their songs were from a songcamp held by the company. This camp gathered the songwriters from all around the world to write songs for a few days in SM entertainment, and they will safekeeping the songs for the suitable artist, even saving it for years.

If i'm not mistaken, nct producer who doesn't want their face, voice, and identity exposed is Kenzie. She is probably the one direcing this that's why we don't hear any feedback from the other side

mark is the most self critical in general so while he didnt actually have it hard skillwise, he makes it hard on himself. hes also the most overworked member :(
