The most impressive thing about this to me is when someone rapping in non English rhymes an English name with a word in their own language, almost everyone did it, and it was wild.

You mentioned 7 Minutoz and their Sanji song Apenas um Trago popped in my head, it's also the only song I've heard from them idk what they was saying cause I only know english but they killed it. Also Stargirl's verse was my favorite, it felt like big money talk

Great reaction, thanks for picking this one, I probably would have missed it otherwise. Worldwide Choppers had two non-US rappers, Ceza from Turkey and Uso from Denmark, so it didn't really live up to its name (although it's a fire song). Still did better than Worldwide Choppers 2 which had 3 Americans and no one else. I'm pretty sure everyone WAS rapping in their native languages. Shwabadi and Pe$o likely have English as their first language, and Zach probably does too unless he's Quebecois, so they'd naturally use that. I'm assuming Louverture was rapping in Haitian Creole which pulls primarily from French and multiple West African languages, but also takes influence from Spanish, English, and Portuguese. As for most of the other bits of English, it seemed like those were things like proper names or other untranslatables that would just get left in during the sub/dub process.

7 minutoz is 99% brazilian portuguese, their 4 main singers are born in Brazil. The "geek music" is just at the early stages, and most people that would like it might not know it. TKraps has +1milion subs but is not even close to be the greatest Brazilian channel and there is only ~200M portuguese speakers against ~1bi english speakers This is proof that any other artists across the world had not reached their ceiling yet

I am Italian, and I must say that I reluctantly did not like the part of stargirl, especially for the pronunciation.
@blasianking48273 жыл бұрын
That's fair. Stargirl isn't a rapper after all, and I myself didn't even know she was Italian so I assume she's not a native Italian but maybe learned it from her parents. But for what it's worth, it sounded good to me though I don't really know Italian.
@blasianking48273 жыл бұрын
But the reason I liked it was probably because her Italian rapping is noticeably better than her English rapping.
@stargirlkyu2 жыл бұрын
That’s completely fine-I’ll admit my pronunciation isn’t the best because even though I was born in Italy into a first generation Italian family, I live in America; so after some time away from my home country I tend lose my accent. It’s regrettable, but unfortunately just something that happens.
@stargirlkyu2 жыл бұрын
@@blasianking4827 I actually am a native Italian haha, it was the very first language I spoke. But I unfortunately lose the accent living in America :( If I had recorded this after a few weeks of being in Italy I would have given a much better performance. Another reason you might like my Italian rapping over my English rapping is because almost everything in English was written for me-this was the very first thing I wrote myself, so it was more “me” if that makes sense.
