I would very much like to THANK all three of you for your true, heartfelt, love and respect for our most BELOVED QUEEN ELIZABETH. It was lovely to see and hear your very kind words of admiration. I wept tears as i watched that funeral again, i miss her so much. She will always be missed, she is such a loss especially those of us that had her for our entire lives, she was everything to us, more loved than any other monarch in our thousand plus history. So it truly means so much to see how much you liked and admired her also. THANKYOU ❤️🏴🇬🇧

As a Ducth person i would like to thank you too for this respectful reaction to the funeral. I grew up in the Netherlands knowing that Queen Elisabeth II would not be send off or abdicate but she would die on the job ( as they said in the Nehterlands) Well they were right... The Queen stayed on as long as she could even after several hearbreaks , the death of Prince Philip, other family troubles that hurt her hard. She was a strong lady and knew want she wanted and how it should happen.
@iandodds32182 ай бұрын
I dont mean to cause offence, this is an honest question but why doesn't the Dutch monarch of recent times stay? Why do they abdicate? The last monarch that died as monarch was William III in 1890

@@iandodds3218 Our king Willem Alexander is on the throne since 2013 as his mother stepped down after 33 years. Our royals, and all royals, are nothing to be compared to any other royal community. That scene and sound, along with her four children and eight grandchildren (including, and particularly, little James who was only 14 at the time) taking turns to hold vigil on the four corners of her coffin the night before her funeral, and her little pony, who was wearing her headscarf on his saddle, stamping his hoof and lowering his head as her coffin was driven past along Windsor Great Park. 💔

The grief and pain on His Majesty's face gets me every time. He was stiff-upper-lipping until he'd done his funeral jobs - placing the camp colour (it shows where a commanding officer is), and giving his ceremonial respects. He let himself feel after that. She worked so hard for us, every single day. She only scaled back and reduced her duties when she couldn't do her best for her people. "Most excellent monarch" is just a line in a ceremonial script, but she truly was.

Queen Elizabeth II is buried in the King George VI Memorial Chapel at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.The Queen was laid to rest alongside her parents and sister after the private family funeral. The late monarch's remains were placed in the King George VI Memorial Chapel, part of the larger St George's Chapel, to rest alongside her husband Prince Phillip. A funeral service was held at Westminster Abbey, followed by a procession to Wellington Arch which featured around 3,000 military personnel and was watched by approximately one million people in central London. The state hearse then transported the Queen's coffin to Windsor, followed by another procession through Windsor Great Park and a committal service at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The Queen was interred later that evening with her husband, Prince Philip, in the King George VI Memorial Chapel, in a private service attended only by her closest family..Thank you.

She wasn't just a Queen, people forget that she was a wife, mother, a grandmother and great grandmother. She was an aunt, a friend, a human. She went to the site of Grenfell tower after the fire to speak to survivors while our then prime minister locked herself in Numer 10 because of the backlash she was getting from it.

A FIRST!!! Congratulations to the gent on left for spotting and commenting on something that no one else has in all the many many videos that I’ve watched on the Queen’s funeral! I often wondered how people could see the white ropes and not question them. The Royal Navy sailors in front of coffin are pulling the gun carriage and because of the weight the Sailors behind are acting as brakes! All by hand. An amazing sight. By the way this procession was only the Queen being taken from Westminster HALL where she lay in state to Westminster ABBEY where her funeral service was held. From there to Wellington Arch via Whitehall, Horseguards and the Mall; THIS was the main funeral procession. On arrival at Wellington Arch she was transferred to a hearse and taken to Windsor where there was another procession down the ‘Long Mile’ to Windsor Castle where a service was held for family and friends. It is there in St. George’s Chapel that she is resting. Thank you for your respect.

Thanks for yòur love and respect for H M Queen Elizabeth II , the only reigning monarch most of us ever knew, her death stunned us all. We felt in our hearts that she was invincible, a constant presence and yet the hardest thing of all is yet to come, as slowly HM The Queen's face will gradually be replaced on our money. We all see her image on everything from small change coins, to bank notes of £5, £10, £20 and £50 denominations. Once our existing money gets totally replaced with that of King Charles III, then that erases her final piece of her existence. When that day comes, it will be a sad one, carrying money had the same effect of us carrying multiple photographs of our Country's longest ever reigning monarch, a role she stepped into aged just 25. What a sacrifice, what colossal responsibility. God Rest Her Soul ❤😢🇬🇧
