Robert Gustafsson is the KING of comedians in sweden. And all of the others knows it

Robert is argueably the best comedian we've ever had. But as you said, his brilliance really shows in Parlamentet cuz his ability to improvise and make new characters on the spot is unmatched. Robert is the goat. Great video!

Many insist that Parlamentet is scripted. As a live studio audience member I can assure you it is not. They just use the clever trick of recording 3+ hours, then editing it down to just the gems. That’s why whole segments are often missing.
@memoblom21128 ай бұрын
According to comedians thats been on the show 50% is scripted (and I’m guessing memorized) and 50% improvised. Meaning they will be told in advance about some of the themes for an ex.
@mikaelandersen-svensson86388 ай бұрын
Its 50/50 scripted and improvised. They have said that themselves in various talkshows
@jensstalberg89688 ай бұрын
they get some ideas and also help each other out to find good jokes for the themes, so it is far from 100% improvised, but not fully scripted either.
@ymaifiyv65898 ай бұрын
As someone said: they write a lot of the jokes in advance - but some parts are improvised
@RuthlessMetalYT8 ай бұрын
A lot of it is scripted, it's obvious.

Robert is one of a kind in Parlamentet. His best sketches from this programme are unmatched. Such a high class comedian. As a matter of fact he’s been voted the best comedian in here is Sweden.

His versatility of old school comedy and modern... plaing lots of different characters, imitations, burlesk, tragic comic, whit. Great at dialects from all over sweden. He is simply unmatched. No one comes even close...

I have commented this before, but, if you ever ever get a chance to watch Yrrol with English subtitles (a film with some of the absolute greatest comics in Sweden, I think it was released early 90s?) YOU HAVE TO. It's my favourite of all time, I never get tired of it.

I can't really find anyone that truly rival Robert Gustafsson if you take into account EVERYTHING he has done. There are more really good comedians in Sweden but Robert has done a very broad spectrum of things. There is one clip where he does dialects from north to south in Sweden and he's spot on for most of them, he has created so many characters and played even more in series, films and so on. If Sweden knighted actors and actresses as they do in England he would have been knighted years ago for his contribution to the arts. But a quick peak on your channel shows that you are finding the others that are good such as Johan Glanz, Henrik Dorsin and so on. Most of the good ones have done things together at one point or another so you'll come across them =)

Inspired by Arvids last video I translated one of my favorite sketches from the show kvarteret skatan where among others Johan Glans is a member. It's the only video on this channel (so far?) if you would like to watch it!

I would argue that Robert Gustafson is the currently best comedian in Sweden, even if everyone does not like him. If everyone in Sweden would rate all the comedians in Sweden, i have no doubts that robert would end on top.

There is an amazing sequence of this show with Robert that is unfortunately impossible to translate. There, he manages to go through several different Swedish accents and dialects (there are quite a few) in just a few sentences. He is a phenomenon when it comes to this and I'm really sorry you can't get that part.

Same as Adde Malmberg (you remember him, where’s he at now??), his skit about, iirc, the weather from south to north! I remember being very impressed by how accurate he was with the north ones, he did them pretty spot on for a scanian guy 👌🏼

I think Robert probably is the GOAT Swedish comedian, hes team (red team) usally win every time along with Björn Gustavsson and Johan Glans. The subs could be Done better, i think obviously it would be much funnier if you knew the laguage and the character he mensions to really understand hes greatness

Mikael Tornving is another comedian doing quite well in Parlamentet. He has a very(!) dry humor that I think can be lost for some. Magnus Betnér. Annika Andersson. Annika Lantz (the woman in the clip next to Robert). Babben Larsson. Soran Ismail. André Wickström. These are just a few, but they made me laugh. 🙌🏼
@Nekotaku_TV8 ай бұрын
Wish the subs were a bit better, but of course a lot is lost in translation. Robert is the best and regarded the best, and we all know people were always hoping he'd be on each week of watching Parlamentet.

There are several good comedians on parlamentet but Robert is very special with the characters he makes up. Try to find his show "Fred ask and illern Göran" Iller means ferret. The other comedians on parlamentet are a little bit better on sarcasm and that kind of comedy.

"Parlamentet" is one of the most amazing swedish humor shows ever! Have you seen the "Hassan busringningar" yet? "Hassan prank calls". This one is a favourite of mine, and this perticular one doesn´t need subtitles either: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmbRm2WJl9KZgc0

Haven't really thought about it before, but after watching this, Robert would probably do (have done) very well on something like Whose Line is it Anyway. Sadly, it never came to be... at least, not that I know (he wasn't in the swedish version of that).

Just realized that Robert was on "Gäster med Gester" ("Guests with Gestures") in the 90s, a charade show with kind of similar improvisation (except no talking...). He did very well there, so my point is proven, I guess 😆

I'm sorry, but this is not funny at all. Just because RG is a great comic person and is a culture person in Sweden, doesn't mean it always work, and, well.... he's "old school".
