So, in this video, Alea takes the role of the Breton Hero. The Breton Hero, Nord Hero, and Altmer Hero (both seen in the video right after Alea falls) are characters who represent the player character in the cinematic trailers. The Breton Hero is from the Daggerfall Covenant (alliance of Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs), and is a ranger-type, favouring his bow and sneaksky-doodles. The Altmer Hero is from the Aldmeri Dominion (alliance of Altmer [High Elves], Bosmer [Wood Elves], and Khajiit), and is the mage. The Nord Hero is from the Ebonheart Pact (alliance of Nords, Argonians, and Dunmer [Dark Elves]), and is the heavy warrior. The cinematics always include at least one of these Heroes. For example, the cinematic trailer for Summerset was centred on the Altmer Hero, the cinematic for Greymoor (takes place in Skyrim) featured the Nord Hero, and the cinematic trailer for Elsweyr featured the Breton Hero who also showcased the brand new Necromancer player class.

Great reaction, as always! The two "new" characters stepping in when our hero dies look almost exactly like the ones from the Elder Scrolls Online cinematics; so much so that I'm still not sure if they may be part CGI rather than actors in costumes. If you haven't already, I suggest you check out the ESO cinematics, starting with the first 4 (released prior to the original game): "The alliances", "The arrival", "The siege" & "The confrontation".

Regarding materials that can look like various armors; chain mail either by its self or as base under metal plate etc can be easily done with certain knitting stitches using grey/black yarn or if you care to live dangerously using cotton and dyed (dangerously because not all cotton yarn will hold up to washings, especially cheaper ones and it takes a LOT of yarn … I am not longer knitting (after 9/11 rules they didn’t like long needles so changed to crochet now) but a search should get you patterns (including free ones) and stitches. Currently using camo pattern acrylic yarn to make a “elfin” wood cloak. Luckily it didn’t have a dye lot so when I came up short I could buy more; generally you want to err on side of too much to be safe. Saltatio Mortis is great listening music for working on crafts…

Great reaction as always :) I guess not all the costumes and armors are made for the video. It's a incredibly big subculture in Germany and at Ren Faires a lot of visitors wear costumes. You can casually see Gandalf the White next to a horde of Orcs, pink unicorns or a medieval-styled Stormtrooper there xD
