@@rickallen1908 yes and no, it wasn't that sherm coulnd't play, just wasn't living up to his contract, which he wasn't, after seattle let him go he had one more good season out like 3.5 seasons. but his best seasons was his sophmore/junior seasons so at the age of 29 going on 30 it makes sense for a team to move on from a corner who just suffered a big injury, on a big contract, and hasn't been able to live up to what he did on his rookie contract

The thing about the pay for college is that the coaches need to get over the awkwardness of money. Because those coaches are getting paid more than the ones in the NFL. If they can make millions off the college play then why can’t the players?? College football was always a minor league system, and most players weren’t at the school for an education. They were there to play football. And the pay for those coaches just went to the students that had to pay tuition to go to the actual school. It’s a BS system all around.

That is a privilege not every coach who is let go gets. If he wants to keep coaching, he's free to leave the organization, as I am sure there are plenty of other organizations who would jump at the chance to get him as a coach, but he said that he wants to stay.
