A warm welcome to the amazing world of Sohyang. She is Korean, now 44, a ccm/gospel singer, devout Christian, cancer survivor, university lecturer, cartoonist and an author of fantasy novels. She is one of the best female vocalists on the planet. She is an independent artist, with no social media, who has turned down contracts from the big labels (including from Sony in 2020) over the years. She says that her goal is to use her voice in order to bring comfort to those going through difficult times. Sohyang does all the arrangements of her performances, with her team. Sohyang is a gospel singer. She is cancer survivor. She doesn't go for fame and wealth but to comfort people with her singing. Next songs from her "Lean on me", "You raise me up" all on Immortal Songs 2. Remember to pause once a while due to copyright issue.

Thanks for the suggestions. But 5 second of the song is all that’s needed for a audio copyright claim. Now way to avoid it other than to appeal which could take 30 days. But I’m fine with the copyrights as long as it doesn’t block my video.

Thanks for another great reaction, Dave! I rank Sohyang among the best female singers. You can't go wrong with any of her performances. She never ceases to amaze and from what I've read about her, she's a very humble person. You will get a lot of recommendations in the comments on what to react to next. Actually there was a new video released just a few days ago: Sohyang & Min Woohyuk - Wildflowers - a beautiful duet, but unfortunately without English CCs. So you have to look up the lyrics separately.

So Hyang is a 44 years old, devout Christian and gospel singer from South Korea. In her early 20's and newly married, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer, which left her unable to have children. After being healed by God, So Hyang's goal has been to use her voice to bring comfort to people who are experiencing difficult times. She is not motivated by either money or fame. So Hyang has rejected numerous offers from major record labels. In addition to being a published author of many fiction books, So Hyang lectures about song and vocal technique, at a South Korean university. This event was in 2015. In 2022, So Hyang has proven her technique is ROCK SOLID. She sounds as good or even better than ever. By reacting to So Hyang, you are making one of the best investments in time. She never disappoints.

She is a vocal master/monster, one of the best voices on earth. She owns some of the greatest live performances ever rendered by any singer in the history of video and audio recording. She is a singer's singer. Her covers of 'I Have Nothing' (her in a blue dress) and 'Lean On Me' with Michael Bolton in the audience are now becoming legendary (thanks to KZbin). You have stumbled upon the best of the best. She takes no second chair to Whitney, Mariah, Lara Fabian, nor Celine (singers I absolutely love). She is every bit the master of her singing domain with impeccable versatility and range, power and emotional conveyance. I have not in a long life run into one like this thin South Korean when it comes to the ability to stun in every genre (Not heard her sing country yet, ha ha, but she is an awesome rap singer (song 'Day Day' from BeginAgain concerts)...) Where ya been on this one? 😂 I found Sohyang two years ago right after I found Morissette, and she's one of my favorites. She's a cancer survivor, she's very religious, and she has no official social media of her own. She won this show, and she also won another time when she did Lean On Me. Michael Bolton was so impressed that he asked Sohyang to sing with him when he performed in South Korea.
