I'm not sure if you know this already, but the 2 latter songs are two of three tracks that they made on 'Howl in Harmony'. They recently dropped the last episode and I highly recommend watching it because it shows the early process of them finding a concept, sound etc. They come up with the initial ideas for the tracks on camera and already show the MV making. The last subunit's MV teaser is about to get released too (Felix, Changbin and Minho)^^

Cheese actually is a song dedicated to haters. There are two hand gestures if you follow the steps instructed in the first part where Sengmin sang and Han's ad lib. Namely a thumbs up 😃 and a middle finger. 😳. . .🤔😏

The way I'm hoping the Gone Away MV maintains that ambiguity but we shouldn't even be that desperate considering what hyunchan is giving us with their whole concept adfjdshf

Totally agree with Gone Away and the MV giving an ambiguous vibe! I wouldn’t be surprised considering they’ve done it in other MVs and that their songs always have gender neutral pronouns, it’s one of the many reasons I appreciate SKZ the way I do. Anyway, I’m most excited for Cheese, it’s already stuck in my head lol.

honestly i appreciate skz making their songs so genderless all the time considering korean doesnt quite have gender neutral pronouns in their language hence why skz always resort to using the word "you" to make their lyrics relatable to everyone

whiplash in a video lol cheese is like a diss track and it's also the intro :) if you saw the lyrics liike "you think dudududu funny" referencing god's menu and "CHEESE" like you got caught . I love that they don't care and having fun while singing these lyrics . the rest are apart of the unit songs , each unit wrote the songs and participated in every detail even the concept and mv and styling . and it's on SKZ- SONG CAMP howl in harmony it's so good if you have time to see it . it's interesting to me to see the behind scenes of the creative process . love the pink hair btw looks cute

So other comments already told you about the meaning of Cheese and about the unit songs made and spoiled us in "Howl in Harmony" so I'll just say one thing about Bang Chan's and Hyunjin's unit song: if you think you love it now, you'll absolutely adore it when you'll hear it in full because the instrumental they made us listen in "Howl in Harmony" (unless they modified it after) has another thing I know you love! I won't spoil you what(unless you want to know) because I know you don't like to be completely have a song spoiled but DAMN. SOTY. No, for real. The things you can hear here (the strings, the bass, the distorted sound and the final haunting beat) are already things I love too and that other thing?? I'm a big fan of it too. Kaia you'll be blown away. Oh and the other unit(Lee Know, Changbin and Felix) will have a completely different sound and concept too, like... THE VERSATILITY

I'd like to note that the director for the unit MVs, and as such Gone Away, is an openly queer man who said he wants to film a queer romance MV so I think the ambiguity is definitely on purpose. 🥰

cheese is for the haters,if you see the lyrics "you find DU DU DU DU funny?" its for the gods menu cuz a lot haters said "they copying Blackpink" or "at least (some groups names) they dont put thinks like that" then "whats so funny about a headache?" its for the Side effects cuz many people send a lot of hate(and in the song they saying my head hearts)and they saying things like " its so noisy" (thats why the album its NO I ea SY cuz they call their music just noises) or "why someone wants to listen to this",then the lyrics go "whats so funny about A-class vibes?". The cheese that they are saying "blue cheese,cheddar cheese,parmesan cheese" its the cheeses with lower in lactose that means even people with lactose intolerance they can enjoy and also cheese is something that we say when we take photos right? Its like they say to the haters "i got ya now say cheese for the photo" or "smile and say cheese cuz we know that you listen to our music even if you say you hate our music" all the album its just to show the haters that they are wrong(even they did 3unit songs all by them selfs we love how they can show their talent)

LOL loved your reaction to all of the teasers. The boys did a episode of Howling in Harmony SKZ - Camp where they broke off in 3 teams to each produce a song for their album. The episodes are about 20-30 min long and so good watching them talk about the song they will create and watching them create it without giving it away. We have one more i think with be out this coming week for Lee Know, Felix and Changbin are doing a fun summer vibe song. Can't wait to see the teaser for it and any other teasers they drop. This album is going to be the death of me. LOL I am looking forward to them all. cant decide on the one i want to hear the most.

i feel like Gone Away's storyline could go in any direction cause the shots were too uncertain (probably on purpose), we don't know for sure who each member is looking at. like, usually in mvs if the members are in love with the same girl or something they make it obvious but this case is different
