The Draymond Green Show

Күн бұрын

Draymond Green explains why the winner of Suns-Mavericks wasn’t a surprise, considering Luka Doncic’s play and the team’s defensive improvement, but whether or not he expected the margin of victory to be what it was. Dray also discusses the Boston Celtics, behind two incredible games from Jayson Tatum, beating Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks to advance to the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals. Find out too what Draymond said to Kevin Durant to hype him up in the famous GIF.

It’s also bulletin board material for a losing team. “He said we played bad defense ?, bet. He said I can’t score on such and such ? Bet”. He literally said he lit a fire under JT but doesn’t see how that can go against his own team. His analogies were bad considering there are dozens of people who are actually in his position right now and none of them are doing it, yet he compared it to completely different situations as if he’s being persecuted or something. He can do what he wants but he’s not going to catch the flak if they lose, it’s Steph.

I think that any commentator that says that Dray should stop with the podcasts, simply are just jealous that he is great at both jobs. On offense he is one of the best facilitators. On defense he is not only super smart as well, but, he also brings up every one else defensively. Like Kevin Garnett, who is one of my favorite players, he is the heart of the team and I feel that he is actually necessary to boost both defense and offense. As a commentator, he is so even and honest and just says what it is really is good or bad, might I add, better than some commentators who are biased or just to opionated to do their job right. I think what helped Boston too. When Tatum left the floor JB instantly got in attack mode. Also the Celtics didn’t play not to lose this game. They kept playing and running sets and the offense didn’t become standstill and stagnant like in the collapse earlier in the series. It was a hell of a series to watch.
