Mitch has definitely done his share of "low" notes. In their cover of "Take on Me" from their Classics album, his range goes from A2 to A5. And, as others have said, this was a wine-driven performance. There is also a "real" version of Let it Go on one of their Christmas albums. The lead goes back and forth between Kirstie and Mitch so seamlessly it's hard to tell which one is singing.

This medley was such a hoot! And they had so much fun doing it. Even when they're just screwing around, they're amazing. All three of them were involved in musical theater since they were about 8 years old, so the getting into character is in their DNA. Mitch definitely has a knack for expressing the emotions with his eyes. He also can sing in a lower register (he's used that part of his range more in some of their recent songs than many of their earlier work, and as others have mentioned, he reaches way down in "Take on Me"... when I first listened to it, I thought Scott had taken over the melody line, but it was all Mitch!). The wrap on his hand represented the one remaining glove that Elsa ripped off at that point in the song. Kirstie is definitely Disney Princess material! They're missing a huge bet if they don't have her voice one at some point, and if they ever have another Latina Princess, it'll be pitchforks and torches if they don't approach her to voice the role!

These early videos of them just being super-talented goofballs are a large part of how Pentatonix gained their massive following. They were just choir kids like so many of us, but they developed their amazing natural gifts and put out content that was both relatable and excellent. We all wanted to be them, and as we watched them build their brand from scratch, they made us feel like we could be. 💕

Your joy was so infectious!!! They have played this game since childhood...who can sing the worst the longest. Honestly, my choir and theatre friends did the same. It takes great control to sing just sharp enough to sound terrible and to sustain in. I laughed so hard the first time I saw it. So happy you are willing to indulge us on these. The "bandage" on Mitch's hand is supposed to simulate the Elsa's single glove that she rips off her right hand in the movie. If you want to see more singing + acting from these three, you should check out the Superfruit videos Pop Goes Broadway and La La Land Medley. The blonde wig also shows up in the videos for Pop Goes Broadway and Defying Gravity (the latter is just Scott & Mitch). The trio is featured on Todrick Hall's Black & White video. All 5 members of PTX (including your fave Avi) star in Todrick's mini Wizard of Oz musical, "The Wizard of Ahhhs". The entire PTX group did another Disney song - Can You Feel The Love Tonight, from The Lion King. Other songs from musicals - Waving Through A Window (from Dear Evan Hansen), Seasons Of Love (from RENT), What Is This Feeling (from Wicked), The Greatest Show (from The Greatest Showman), We're All Made Of Stars (from Finding Neverland), and Once Upon A December (from Anastasia). PTX also did an a cappella version of Let It Go with Mitch and Kirstie sharing the lead; it's on the That's Christmas To Me album. Kirstie has done guest vocals twice with Voctave - first time with former fiancé Jeremy on the Disney Love Medley and again most recently on Show Yourself (from Frozen 2). Kirstin also did a stint in the Broadway musical Kinky Boots. You should be able to find videos on KZbin of her performing with the cast. Scott is in original musical video "Ghost" with Frankie that is basically a parody of the musical Grease. Scott and Mitch sing & act in a number of their Superfruit videos - the aforementioned Defying Gravity, Guy.exe (and the rest of their original Future Friends album), Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 & 2. They also do a non-singing Stranger Things re-enactment with some friends that is hysterical. The trio also guest star on an episode of the tv series Bones and they all get to sing and act. You should be able to find those clips posted in a single video you can react to.

Yess...Kirstie is ABSOLUTELY a real-life Disney princess. And you can tell that all the musical theater the three of them did as kids really paid off later in life. This is one of the funniest videos ever made! You can tell, especially during the bloopers, that they've been close friends ever since they were little kids. random story: when this was first uploaded it soon after got blocked in Australia. Then, PTX performed at some Disney celebration and they must've negotiated something or Disney realised PTX was a good thing for them cause it reappeared (thankfully - it's a go-to when I need a cheer up), then Let It Go was a bonus track on a PTX Christmas album, Kirsten did her thing with Voctave and they did Can You Feel The Love Tonight. So it seems they're in Disney's good graces these days. With any luck it's only a matter of time before Mitch or Kirsten are princesses😊

Disney HAS approached them! Disney Channel at least. They were on at least one show and did a promo version of a song from the Disney Channel movie Teen Beach Movie. "Crusin' For A Bruisin'" I believe it's called if I'm remembering correctly.
