The line about the heavy accent was because the terminator was supposed to be an "infiltration" unit that could pass for one of the human resistance members. The joke is that the accent would make that unlikely (ie failure).

Fun fact. When Terminator was redheaded in Germany/Austria they had to get someone else to dub other than Arnold Schwarzenegger cause his native accent was actually considered very... Hick in the area and they didn't think it worked well. It was basically if John wick was going "hyuk hyuk y'all were gone mosey on down to the waterin hole."

T-3 actually fixed the terminator timeline. The end of T-2 was a good heartwarming, fuzzy feeling kind of ending, but it is wholly inaccurate to the stories timeline. The war HAS to happen in order for John to have been born. Without the war there was no reason to send either the terminator or Reese back in time, if they didn't go back in time none of what caused the future war would happen, thus they wouldn't be sent back in time, the future tech that got Cyberdyne to the top wouldn't be there, skynet wouldn't have been invented (at least not nearly as soon as it was) and John wouldn't be born, thus the T-2 ending could not be possible. I know Reese said "one possible future" in the terminator, but that future was set in stone when the terminator and Reese went into the past. I think that is where a lot of the hate for T-3 comes from, the fact that it fixed the timeline and we didn't get that happy unicorns and rainbows ending to the story.

The reason terminator was talking like that was how he was able to do the accent. It's just like when heath ledger did joker and he was licking his lips all the time. It was something he did to stay in character and do what he did. It's the same thing here

The automotive industry in Detroit got real weird tho, so the bar hits hard. I mean... there was news of employees protesting there a long time ago now, during a recession, where they'd go damage any car from a brand that wasn't American on the streets, skipping all the Tahoes and Suburbans (built in Canada and Mexico) and took it out on the Toyota Camry (built in Detroit) when they found them, as there's many of them. Dunno how true the news was tho, while it'd be funny... I kinda hope it was just a false rumor.

This battle was a hard decision for me... I love robocop and the terminator. But that morning after pill line won it, robocop won for me. Like this advanced future AI couldn't kill a KID. that's one hell of a scres you. The line "mail your space helmet back to Geordie La Forge" Wasn't really a diss, Geordie is considered to be one of the best engineers and is a fantastic character because after all the issues he had disability wise. He became the cheif engineer of the flagship of the federation... oh and he's played by LeVar Burton.

Skynet shot itself in it's digital foot by setting off a nuclear conflict between America and Russia, especially before the age of mass online storage and social media. It knew the name of the leader and his mother and where they were born but that was it. This is why both terminators they sent back had to waste a lot of time searching for their targets (and also shows how much more advanced the T-1000 was compared to the 100, the 100 just looked up everyone they could find named Sara Conner and killed them one by one while the 1000 disguised itself as a figure of authority and used it to quickly and quietly find his target). Skynet would of sent even more terminators back but it just Conner was able to shut Skynet down just after it sent back the T-1000.

Well the reboot of robocop a few years ago that was a failure. But then again murphys law always wins out in the end. But a side note :I dont get why they need to reboot classic movies and ruin them with all that PC stuff. Just compare the original robocop and the 2000s reboot. no comparison.
