I am not even a fan of racing but I have been to the IOM-TT twice and cannot express how wonderful the experience was. From meeting so many nice people and enjoying a few days on a beautiful Island to getting ripped off paying a lot more for hotels than normal during race time, the is no getting away from this being such a wonderful place to visit.

The one that you were wondering about was a sidecar outfit - there is the driver and the 'passenger' .That is well worth a look !

I've been going to this nearly every year and I love it. This is man machine and road. The fact that the roads are right through the pedestrians means nothing. No one is forced to come here to race but they still come. There is nothing like this event.

Greatest race on earth, also extremely difficult to go to because everyone wants to see it as well as to those days when they let you ride around the track since it is actual open streets only closed on race day. Second to none, every bike rider wants to race there . Again , the greatest race other then the first race at the first Greek olympics this kept that torch glowing as the greatest race of all on earth.

So in the last week you have watched cheese rolling, the Atherstone ball game and now the Isle of Man TT. I believe it is important that you know that there are sane people in the UK too not many & they are no fun but I'm told they do exist.

The most deadly race on earth, fun but ALWAYS DEADLY

This race is against the clock, and each rider starts every 10 seconds behind each other. The rider fastest over 6 laps of the island course wins, this is not just motorbikes racing, there are sidecar races too but only over 3 laps of the course, if you like this video, there are many more, and some with accidents, the documentary videos are the best, they have much more information about the history of the TT, enjoy your journey.

I went to the TT in the 80s. It was sooo boring, just sitting on the grass verge waiting for another to wiz by. Eventually, me and a couple of the other girls went to the pub and left the lads to it!🤣

200+ mph and their knees and elbows do touch the ground and the bike that was really low to the ground is a motorbike and side car outfit which is a completely different type of riding 😂😂😂

Just watching the bikes doesn’t tell you about the race. You’d learn a great deal from watching one of the videos that explains the race.

fantastic race series! - the Isle of Man TT fortnight in June/July is a reminder (along with Irish Road Racing ) how motorsport used to be in the "olden days!". albeit with 220mph motorbikes these days & average speeds around the course of 136 mph!. You might enjoy a POV from the rider as they race the course - there are a few of those on KZbin.

Come next year, Ill sponsor you guys $2k. Im a crew chief (mechanic) for a Manx GP rider. Wanna see it 1st hand, nows your chance. Imagine sending your rider out on a bike youve built, the trust the skills of the rider and his Team. Just put yourself on Pit wall praying youve tightened that bolt, praying he makes no mistakes. Then imagine the party after, its something else. We live we die but only a few feel what life really means. Want to see my rider getting taken out, then racing with a Broken hand, 3 ribs and a bleed on the spleen? He finished 12th after all that!

The suits have knee sliders on. They are plastic and metal pads designed to slide on the road and slowly wear out at a controlled rate. If you think that these TT riders leaned over too much, you will freakout when you see what they do on safe race tracks. There they can really take specially designed bikes to the extreme. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6LdaYSMgJuMn5o
