The song literally symbolises sugar rush or a addiction rush with the way it progresses. The whole song is fast, the way sugar or addictive substance rushes in your blood vessels. But the stripped down chorus is when the addictive substance reaches your brain and everything suddenly gets slow, and our body goes relaxed and numb. Then this 'sugar rush' repeats again for the next chorus and in the end it's a fast rushing outro, like an orgasm lol and the song ends.

It's funny the way this song feels like a sugar rush, because it's so nice and satisfying in a way, but also hollow in others? Like, at least for my taste, the post-chorus is not 100% satisfying, and yet I KEEP COMING BACK TO IT, I CAN'T GET ENOUGH!? Like I don't know the number of times I've listened to this song since it dropped, but A LOT. I also really love the whole album, each song gives something different and something that I like. In particular on first listen I'm super into Farewell, Neverland!

Yeah i feel that Is what they want they want us wanting more because of how obsessed we already are with what they gave us in the song so we want more of that and they literally said "gime me , give me more , give me give me more " in the song this whole song feel like such a tease in the best way possible also it's something different and unique that only txt can pull off . I'm obsessed already and so excited for txt future releases they are always giving us something different and high quality i love that

I love how they're inarguably growing up through their music, but unlike a lot of other groups they don't do it by becoming leather clad gym rats. Don't get me wrong, I love a buff bad boy and if it makes them feel more confident then more power to em. But it seems like there's all this pressure in kpop for the men to either stay boyish or beef up, and I'm glad txt are finding a realm for themselves outside the norm. They're just going for the ethereal fae lost boy Puck vibe and I am sooo here for it.

By far your best thumbnail ever! Not gonna lie, when I first listened to it , I wasn't sold on the first chorus because I thought something was missing, especially in the second half of the first chorus. The thing, I thought was missing in the 1st part, they totally nailed it in the second chorus but like the song still feels, I don't know, kinda short to me? I do think the 1st chorus was made like that on purpose because it's like the first taste of it and when you listen to it, you kinda want something more from it. The second chorus makes you addicted to, like you want more from it. You want to listen to it one more time but then the song ends xd You (or myself) just wants to listen to it one more time, like I'm on a "rush". Similar to eating sweets, you're taking a first bite and then you want MORE.

I feel like the whole song is an auditory metaphor for a drug high. It hooks you in really quickly, followed by high ethereal vocals, and then the anti drop which it’s a tension that never stops, it never leaves you and now you’re in and can’t let go. Second verse, they already know they’re addicted. By the end they realize it was a lie and feel betrayed by the sugar.

These shiny boys and their endless fights a bit of storyline info: ;; They got a kind of power boost from the blue and green eyed cat which is also very addictive ofc. That's why they look so intoxicated. But the glitter and vines over them show the casualty of it. The more power they use, the more backlash they get. Also I guess they're on magic island because there's a train wreck in the sea which directly connects to the Magic Island mv. The end they were leaving like they’re fine and they can come back. Cause they have a song magic island with an mv and they did go to magic island and they got there by using a train . I don’t know if you noticed the train in the ocean wrecked in this mv. But in magic island mv things also didn’t end well. Also in the first mv they were also back at the magic island where they found the tent with the tarot reading person.
