Yeah.. Those are different tribes from North East India. India is so diverse both culturally and racially. There are approx. 700 tribes more than 2000 ethnic communities and all type of races n religions are found in India. Further more 121 languages, more than 19500 dialects are spoken in India. From childhood we are bound to learn more than 2 languages -regional language, English , language of the neighbouring state and hindi. I'm very very glad to see that people are showing interest in our diversity. Thank you so much 😊

@@yellowberrio yes.. For example i can speak nd write 3 languages fluently- odia, English and hindi. I can understand bengali, panjabi n bhojpuri but cant write or read their letters. So yes Every Indian is a multilingual😊. Many also go n learn international languages like Korean Japanese French Spanish Russian.

you look exactly like that yimchunger girl in the video at 6:15. thought she was your twin when looking side to side lol. nice reaction. northeast india is like a transition from indian subcontinent to the east/se asian world. so people in that region can look pure chinese/tibetan to southeast asian like burmese, thai, cambodian to regular "indian" that most people think of.

not really. it depends. there are nagas, mizos, etc in burma as well but most of these people are sinotibetan in origin and havent mixed much with southeast asians. nagas, nyshis, sikkimese especially are almost pure tibetan. mizos, manipuris, tripuris mixed a bit though with local indians and se asian like people.

So Austroasiatic speaker does exist in Estern India?...didn't know that...I'm from Borneo Island...we speak Austronesian, but according to some research...we does have a bit of Austroasiatic genetic, probably something related to Sundaland theory where both Austronesian & Austroasiatic ancestor mixed together and became the core of 'Malay Race' in Nusantara aka Malay Archipelago...not only that, our culture here in Borneo Island quite similar to some of mountain tribes in Indochina...

Hey sis, India has 22 officially recognised language and thousands of unofficially recorgnised language. Hindi and English is recognised as the official language of the country and not the national language. States that does not speak Hindi can choose English as one of the official language of the state. Btw some tribes in the north east of India speaks a sino-tibetan language which is the same language family of Chinese languages.

Lol I thought some of the singers look Asian too. Isn't India in Asia and so Indians are asians too?

Geographically speaking, India is located inside of Asia so I guess so. But within popular American culture, I think a lot of us when using the word "Asians" refer to a few groups of people that doesn't happen to include Indians. Lol I could be wrong idk.
