Another thing I love about V is his music videos. They have a visual and conceptual quality very different from Kpop and the rest of BTS. Already within BTS, starting with their song Singularity, their MVs are of magnificent quality. They are not visibly ostentatious, noisy, repetitive and with flashy and common dance choreographies, but rather they are softer, fluid, emotional, sophisticated and with extraordinary cinematography.

V is a genius at keeping us waiting for his next step and wanting more. He brings such an exciting excitement that keeps us intrigued and captivated with his music, all his talents, and charisma. Hyoshin and V composed this song and helped write it. Both are phenomenal with their vocal abilities. It’s a very beautiful song. They have been close friends for a while now, despite their age difference. V has away of befriending people that are an enhancement to his life and his friendships become meaningful not to just him but to his fans as well. How about V’s acting⁉️ He’s playing two different personas so brilliantly that some don’t realize he is playing both male characters/actors. (Hyoshin did not appear in the video. It was filmed in France two years ago.) I could get lost in V’s musical universe. If you haven’t watched his Vlog DRIVE on KZbin you are truly missing out. All the members have one but his is just special because it truly is about driving around and listening to music with V. (A day in the life of V.) It’s almost an hour long but you’ll yearn for more. He is so charming and down to earth in it. Makes you wonder how life would be if he were your friend. Taehyung has a fascinating mind. Love it. such a V move. V and Park Hyo a shin are great friends. This was recorded 2 years ago. Amazing how they sat on projects before releasing them for the fans. They have changed how group approach they careers while in the military. And can I comment on the genius of this music videos layers upon layers with so many interpretations. The fact that his acting is so good that he can carry this complex story line with just his facial expressions is amazing. Check out his duet of White Christmas. Bing’s family asked him to do it.

I think you guys should watch the interpretation of this MV. It's freaking genius!! Like what was going on in his mind to actually came up with this theme for his MV😂 And actually all of his MVs are saying the same thing one way or another. He is interesting! SHE was HIM 😭 the sculpture was him!!! KIM TAEHYUNG'S MUSIC isn't just simply music, it's a whole fxcking novel! crying with tears in his eyes is art and he did it effortlessly!! The same mark on taehyung , woman & the sculpture showcasing how he conjured up everything ,The dark persona reminiscent of this fact And what stood out to me most was how perfectly Taehyung emoted the moment of realisation . Just brilliant !! the moment when realization hits taehyung. none of it was real. a fantasy inside a fantasy, dreamt up by a solitary artist who confronts himself at the end. and as he cries, he also smiles. because even if false, his dreams were still so very beautiful. and he was so happy. the version in front of him bleeds from a cracked head and we see glimpses of cracked sculpture heads in his workshop. this too is him then. both are him. none more real than the other. the cynic and the romantic. the darkness and the light..amazing

V the sculptor created an image of himself, V the statue or the sculpture. V sculptor must be projecting his own desires to live be with someone in his V statue. Or he could be a loner, seeking to live/happiness but doesn’t know how. This desire breathed life to his creation. Thus, when the V statue came to life, he also desired to be with someone and created a female statue (and maybe many others) and breathed life to her. The V sculpture lived the life, ie, going around, feeling the wind, being awed by other lives (like the butterfly), dancing, partying, celebrating, loving a girl. But that will end as he faced his creator later and realized he was not real, thus the heartbreaking sadness and acceptance in V’s eyes in the last scene. This is when you see the girl disappearing and even his face in the mirror partly turning into stone. The sculptor V is bloodied. This may represent his own brokenness, or relate to the scene where he was angry and frustrated and took such anger on his scuplture of V thus scraping that part of his face under his eye, and breaking him. It can also be theorized that when sculptor V broke the V statue, this instead gave life to the statue while the sculptor sustained the brokenness or injuries, sort of opposite effect. Or these could all just be a part of the sculptor’s dreams. Teaser 1 represents the darkness in his life. Teaser 2 is his daydream of a happier life, although it will end like any other dream, and he will go back to reality. Also the dark jacket and heavy footsteps may represent the darkness in the sculptor’s life, while the red jacket and whitish colors may symbolize life and lightness. The dark jacket V can also be the repre V sentation of Winter- when it is cold, dark and can bring a heavy feeling. For me there are both biblical and mythological elements in the storyline. And many ways to interpret or solve the puzzle. Sufficing to say, V succeeded in engaging us all to thinking and discoursing about all these. This is what I think at least. Right or wrong, the MV is brilliant. It evokes many thoughts even after watching the MV, and has real depth. V’s acting is so effective. I can still feel sadness for his character seeing his expressions. V’s vocal harmony with PH is also superb and magical! V’s visual is unparalleled throughout the video. This MV and song are masterpieces that not just anyone can put together. Kudos to PH and as for V, he really is Korea’s best talent and treasure!

Here is what I have found from an interpreter which is also close to what I think about this MV too! So it's all about a Greek Mythology about a sculptor called Pygmalion who does not love the world & think that there is no woman in world with perfection for him to love, like he always found a flaw in every woman because he is a perfectionist. So he made a sculpture of his perfect woman and prayed for a woman like the sculpture and when he kissed the sculpture, it came to life. This mv has the same theme but the story is even darker! So, the sculptor V who seek for perfection actually made a perfect him and it came to life, but the sculptor V already left the mansion(maybe to try find happiness or to heal from his pains or he had a reality check, idk) and throughout the video we are actually seeing the sculpture V he made! And sculpture V who is also the blueprint of actual V find the world imperfect and start to make people and the woman, And it all came to life and the sculpture V is living in that world he made for himself! Then, sculpture V broke one of the statue and it made the real V wake up from his sleep (the first scene) and starts to hear voices like footsteps and stuffs because they might be connected with each other, So he drove back to the mansion to confront his statue to bring him back to reality, like to make him realize that he is not real and none of his world is real which can also be said like breaking the mold of imagination to reality to live in the world of flaws! Nothing is perfect, if everything is perfect it's not a real world, so live and cherish the real world instead of looking for perfection and also to love yourself, that's what I think the message is! His every MV has this message one way or another! The sculpture V also try to look away from light every time and in that dance scene everyone with flashlights, he is confronted with light which made him doubt everything and the real V also use light to bring back the sculpture V to reality! The blood can be meant as his pain and his broken side, like in order to find happiness you have to confront your pain first! like once he quotes that "In order to be successful, you have to fail too" Idk if this is correct, I love cinema and I already have so many theories for all of his MVs😂 This video and music was such an experience! I'm already addicted to this song😂

Hello, Throga boys. Thank you for this reaction. V has always been that charmer with the velvety-est(??) of voices, hasn't he? Smooth, jazzy, deep...like caramel somehow. And Park Hyoshin's voice blended so very well into this song. He is also a crooner everyone loves. And yes, the Bangtan boys do always more than we ordinarily think. This is sumptuous, isn't it? Oh. Fun fact. V has composing and writing credits on this song. While most of the lyrics were written by Jessie Harris because they're in English, Taehyung worked on every aspect of this song. Winter Ahead was supposed to have been on his first self-composed album until he decided to release Layover first.

I love jazz! That's why I love V's solo music! It has such great and wonderful arrangements. V makes his songs sound easy but his compositions are not as simple as they seem. I love V! Loosely based on the Greek mythology story of the scuptor Pygmalion who scupted a lady so beautiful he fell in love with her. In the story Aprodite the Goddess of love did turn the statue into a real person so Pygmalion could be with her. In the MV, the twist is at the end when V (red jacket) realizes he was also a statue turned to life by the real sculptor, V (black jacket). His tears in the end was accepting this fact. V's MV's are always so unique & creative & in behind the scenes video of the MV, you can actually see him directing a lot of the scenes. Not only is V a great singer, but also an actor, story teller & director & I can see his future whenever BTS breaks up in the movie industry!!!
