We need to bring back tomboys and femboys. Not everything means youre trans. Its okay to be a feminine man or masculine girl, its okay to like stuff opposite gender does, that doesnt mean you have to be opposite gender. Its absolutely valid Another problem with letting children make those choices is just the fact that most children, especially teens(!) Go through phases where they hate their body, want to change everything, feel theres something wrong and most of the time we grow out of it

Is that the outcome for everyone though? is it really a wild comparison? you had no idea that your life was not gonna have any negative outcomes from dropping out of HS. You can also take it as many times as you want to if you want to improve your scores. And actually, fun fact, if you score high enough on your GED it actually counts as college credits in some states. As I said, I went to trade school. But if I desired to do so, I would have absolutely no issues getting into university. And yes, I knew all of this before making the choice to leave. To my surprise, the bathroom was shared between Men and Women, with the urinals against a wall that people had to pass by in order to access the doors for the private toilets. Shared bathrooms is really uncommon here in France (I know, shocking, right? ;D ) I felt uncomfortable AF. And knowing that little girls or women could consciously or unconsciously take a quick sneek peak at my dick while I was urinating made me terribly uncomfortable and uneasy. For myself but also for potentially accidentaly exposing myself to a woman or a girl. So I can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like for a woman who sees a biological male entering what should normally be a "safe environment" for women, shared by and for women.

I am a biological, bisexual woman in my early 20s. When I was 15, i felt greatly uncomfortable with my body and my feelings toward other women, i felt often like being masculine or male would be the only way to be with a woman properly. I wanted to have my breasts removed, and i bound for a short period of time. My then girlfriend did NOT want me to get my breasts removed, but she and i were 15 and we were both so scared and unsure, insecure that while she counted calories, i bound my chest. My parents were not accepting of me doing anything to my body of permanence, i got to dye my hair and pierce my ears, that was it. The adults in my life who were advocating me to transition or be a proactive nonbinary person (yes, i identified as NB, went by a different name and all), groomed me and destroyed my mental health, regular teenage awkwardness became genuine depression and anxiety. Listening to this video, comforts me. The people who saved me from spiraling were the ones who wanted me to wait and be sure, to really think and wait until i was an adult. These narratives the libs push DESTROY kids, and they almost destroyed me, so i want to thank all the beautiful people on the conservative side, for standing up for kids like i was.

Im a 45 yo hetero biological woman who went through a tomboy phase from age 9-14. I had cut my long hair into a crew cut, wore boys sports tees, jeans, nikes and a ball cap. Many ppl thought I was a boy and called me "he" until told otherwise. Puberty of course was uncomfortable (as it is for all) and after awhile, I began to accept and appreciate my female body. By age 16 I was happy to be a woman and even started to grow my hair long, dye it platinum blond, wear make up and dress like Gwen Stephani. I am so happy I grew up before all this gender nonsense. I know if I hadnt, I would have been talked into being trans and regretted it. As an adult, I live as a very feminine stereotypical woman on the outside, with a few masculine traits, qualities and hobbies. We need to start helping kids accept who they are before giving them thoughts otherwise. Its so dangerous to equate uncomfortably of growing up as something that is wrong, or needs to be medicated or stopped all together. In 10 years we are going to have a rash of young adults who were permanently sterilized, disfigured and traumatized... that could have been prevented. Lets wait until adulthood to allow them to make those decisions. Enough of this insanity.

@SimpleWriter101 your first argument is extremely disingenuous, whether you realize it or not; you're asking parents to choose between a suicidal child and a trans child, which is of course a no-brainer. But it's a strawman, because if those were actually the only two options and people have actually been trans as long as activists say, the human population wouldn't be nearly as big as it currently is, because half the minors would've killed themselves. So which is it? Is it either transition or death, or just a phase that 90% of people come out of? And if it IS just a phase, wouldn't it do more harm in the long run to transition and regret it later? Children should not be allowed to transition, in ANY way, until they're in their late teens/early twenties and can truly grasp the implications and consequences of their choices

She suddenly felt she was a boy, she hated her body, her breasts, everything. And i told her as her mother you need to get her HELP. She will call him/her the name they want to go by and call them her son, but she refuses to allow medical transition until her child has gone through therapy and reaches adult age FIRST to determine if its actually a matter of being trans or a matter of trauma. I would never make that child feel bad about wanting to be called a different name or pronoun but i will stress until the very end, therapy comes first. Get to the bottom of the issue and if in adulthood you still want to transition, by all means. Youre an adult.
