We need to bring back tomboys and femboys. Not everything means youre trans. Its okay to be a feminine man or masculine girl, its okay to like stuff opposite gender does, that doesnt mean you have to be opposite gender. Its absolutely valid Another problem with letting children make those choices is just the fact that most children, especially teens(!) Go through phases where they hate their body, want to change everything, feel theres something wrong and most of the time we grow out of it

I wish you hadn’t skipped the prompt of trans women in bathrooms because the conservative trans woman with short hair (Jessica) said the most heartwarming thing. She said she doesn’t see herself as very passable and “That’s a ‘me’ problem.” She talked about how she often uses the men’s room because the responsibility of her safety shouldn’t be on women, or at the expense of their feeling safe. It was so eloquently put.

I also felt for Jessica. You can tell she is one of the ACTUAL dysphoric trans in the world ...and these self ID lunatics make ppl like her have a harder time because of it. Passable or not, you can tell she is just not a predator. We as women have a radar when it comes to threatening individuals, so it becomes more than about whether you "pass" or not, its about how you present yourself and whether you respect others... like Blaire pointed out.

As a teenager myself, I want to move out once I earn enough money to do so. It's not because my family is terrible, it's because I want to let my room become my sisters' room. In short, trans children will have access to their forms of gender affirming healthcare. If they are restricted from it especially at government policy. There will be violence and destruction. We don’t have to stay peaceful to your unreasonable notions just cause y’all are ignorant of what actually goes into the process for trans minors to even begin the first step of medical transition. Yes some places are easier and typically guess what it’s the conservative states that typically have planned parenthood and other places do the informed consent option since they often can’t get access to therapists/endocrinologists. I think what Blossom wants to say, which she/he/they failed to do so, is that children nowadays have access to technology compared to adults before their time which allows them to be more informed, hence making the former knowledgeable. That is a fact. However, just because you're informed with so many knowledge doesn't always mean that you will be able to make the right choices in life. Even with the presence of technology, children nowadays still commit mistakes CONSCIOUSLY. Even if they have researched the repercussions and consequences on the choice that they will be making. That's where it doesn't make sense--fallacy in argument, to be honest.

High school drop out here🙋🏻‍♀️ I left school at 17, got my GED, immediately went to trade school, and graduated trade school at 20. I have been able to provide for myself ever since. Is that the outcome for everyone though? is it really a wild comparison? you had no idea that your life was not gonna have any negative outcomes from dropping out of HS. The point is both are monumental decisions and have an impact on your life in way or another. Many people could argue that you weren't ready to make that decision yet because your brain wasn't developed enough since you weren't 25 to understand the consequences of it.

@@waize-1383 To your comment on “many people would argue that I wasn’t ready to make that decision because I wasn’t 25 and my brain wasn’t done developing” That is a valid concern, which is why children shouldn’t be allowed to transition. But to compare the two of these like they’re the same doesn’t even begin to make sense. You can always go back to high school. You can always get your GED after dropping out. You can also take it as many times as you want to if you want to improve your scores. And actually, fun fact, if you score high enough on your GED it actually counts as college credits in some states. As I said, I went to trade school. But if I desired to do so, I would have absolutely no issues getting into university. And yes, I knew all of this before making the choice to leave. I made a very informed decision for what I wanted my life to look like. Bottom line; dropping out of high school has no health concerns and little effect on your adult life as a whole. So yes. While I agree with the sentiment, I can see why things are like this now. The Liberal party in Canada is pro-all of this shit. The reason Jordan Peterson got so much fuel earlier in his rise to fame was his opposition to the BS up here coming from the "Liberals". Specifically this topic. Years later and its only gotten worse. Liberals are not very liberal these days. They've changed, and so has our world. In some states, minors can get cosmetic surgery with parental consent. Sara simply opposes the practice in all cases, which is a valid position, whether or not I personally agree with it.

I’m glad Blaire said what she said at the end. There’s such a toxic culture around walking on eggshells as to not offend trans and non-binary people, I think it’s important for there to be a voice of dissent that normalizes treating them like anyone else, and treating them how they’ve treated others. And I don’t blame her one bit given how horribly she was treated by Jubilee.

@@iwillcontactattorneygenera1078 yeah I agree and that was the reason of my comment. However like you said what 16 year old has a full grasp on life then. actually it’s 2 different things body dysmorphia: A mental illness involving obsessive focus on a perceived flaw in appearance. gender dysphoria: A sense of unease or dissatisfaction that a person may have because of a mismatch between their biological sex and their gender identity, may be so intense it can lead to depression, anxiety, and have a harmful impact on daily life. the two are OFTEN confused for one another. even by people who will claim they know the difference. Blair is one of the people who actually knows the difference and she’s talked about it on her channel before. one of the things i remember was for her she ended up having plastic surgery on her nose, and it wasn’t because it affirmed her gender it was because she hated her nose. that’s a prime example of the difference between gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia. i say this not even to disagree with your point bc i do agree that the way people with GD are immediately affirmed (every person on the panel admits in the video that all of them walked into a drs. office and got a prescription for opposite sex hormones in less than an hour.) in california, if you’re a 15 year old with severe anor*xia you will be 51/50ed, if you’re a 15 year old “trans kid” you’ll get puberty blockers and on the wait list for bre*st removal. it’s INSANE.

Regarding the point about shared bathrooms : I'm French, and I recently went to take a leak in a restaurant while I was having lunch there. To my surprise, the bathroom was shared between Men and Women, with the urinals against a wall that people had to pass by in order to access the doors for the private toilets. Shared bathrooms is really uncommon here in France (I know, shocking, right? ;D ) I felt uncomfortable AF. And knowing that little girls or women could consciously or unconsciously take a quick sneek peak at my dick while I was urinating made me terribly uncomfortable and uneasy. For myself but also for potentially accidentaly exposing myself to a woman or a girl. So I can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like for a woman who sees a biological male entering what should normally be a "safe environment" for women, shared by and for women.

I am a biological, bisexual woman in my early 20s. When I was 15, i felt greatly uncomfortable with my body and my feelings toward other women, i felt often like being masculine or male would be the only way to be with a woman properly. I wanted to have my breasts removed, and i bound for a short period of time. My then girlfriend did NOT want me to get my breasts removed, but she and i were 15 and we were both so scared and unsure, insecure that while she counted calories, i bound my chest. My parents were not accepting of me doing anything to my body of permanence, i got to dye my hair and pierce my ears, that was it. The adults in my life who were advocating me to transition or be a proactive nonbinary person (yes, i identified as NB, went by a different name and all), groomed me and destroyed my mental health, regular teenage awkwardness became genuine depression and anxiety. Listening to this video, comforts me. The people who saved me from spiraling were the ones who wanted me to wait and be sure, to really think and wait until i was an adult. These narratives the libs push DESTROY kids, and they almost destroyed me, so i want to thank all the beautiful people on the conservative side, for standing up for kids like i was.

Im a 45 yo hetero biological woman who went through a tomboy phase from age 9-14. I had cut my long hair into a crew cut, wore boys sports tees, jeans, nikes and a ball cap. Many ppl thought I was a boy and called me "he" until told otherwise. Puberty of course was uncomfortable (as it is for all) and after awhile, I began to accept and appreciate my female body. By age 16 I was happy to be a woman and even started to grow my hair long, dye it platinum blond, wear make up and dress like Gwen Stephani. I am so happy I grew up before all this gender nonsense. I know if I hadnt, I would have been talked into being trans and regretted it. As an adult, I live as a very feminine stereotypical woman on the outside, with a few masculine traits, qualities and hobbies. We need to start helping kids accept who they are before giving them thoughts otherwise. Its so dangerous to equate uncomfortably of growing up as something that is wrong, or needs to be medicated or stopped all together. In 10 years we are going to have a rash of young adults who were permanently sterilized, disfigured and traumatized... that could have been prevented. Lets wait until adulthood to allow them to make those decisions. Enough of this insanity.

@SimpleWriter101 your first argument is extremely disingenuous, whether you realize it or not; you're asking parents to choose between a suicidal child and a trans child, which is of course a no-brainer. But it's a strawman, because if those were actually the only two options and people have actually been trans as long as activists say, the human population wouldn't be nearly as big as it currently is, because half the minors would've killed themselves. So which is it? Is it either transition or death, or just a phase that 90% of people come out of? And if it IS just a phase, wouldn't it do more harm in the long run to transition and regret it later? Children should not be allowed to transition, in ANY way, until they're in their late teens/early twenties and can truly grasp the implications and consequences of their choices

She will call him/her the name they want to go by and call them her son, but she refuses to allow medical transition until her child has gone through therapy and reaches adult age FIRST to determine if its actually a matter of being trans or a matter of trauma. The gentleman who has breathing issues from binding. You had pain because you bound not because you didn’t have top surgery. Both are torture. You damaged your capacity to breathe and it still is an issue. Seriously, this is exactly why, (even though you WERE FORCED to make decisions because you were homeless) you were too young to make healthy decisions. You weren’t smart enough to realize you were harming yourself.

He clearly states that he had to do it. Meaning, he felt he was too unhappy with the breasts he had. The dysphoria is medically classed, and can lead all the way to suicide. Broken ribs are better than buried ones.

That military question was actually the first question asked. That's why she had a defensive attitude from the start. They all attacked the validity of her career from the second they sat down. They edited it to make that question out of order.

You can’t talk to a true believer about anything. Just ask former Scientologists about trying reason with someone still in the cult. Blair is absolutely based and brilliant. I have no beef with her or anyone who has self respect and respect for others.

35:40 Imagine being so delusional that you compare being homeless and paying your own bills at 16 to getting a medical procedure done that is litterally irreversible and you would have to live life like that your whole entire life. You had to pay bills at 16 most likely because you had no choice. With transitioning you do in fact have a choice and it is a choice a minor should not have to make. End of discussion.

when blossom speaks, all I hear is a man in a dress telling biological women how they’re supposed to feel, and once again putting women’s concerns on the back burner. It’s misogyny at its finest.
