As what Cocona revealed during the Apple Music interview, GRL GVNG was about their “arrival”, TGIF was “evolution”, and NEW DANCE was them “exploring”. Let’s see what the new songs will be about and I am excited!

This theme started with the song Shooting Star, 'We shootin' from another galaxy'. Their company name was X-Galaxy, now XGALX. The theme is that the members are 'alien' visitors from another galaxy. Visiting earth and discovering the wonders of this world. Primarily, what is is to be human, droid like look and behavior at the beginning of Shooting Star, discovering human relationships Left Right, excitement and individuality TGIF, and now, sheer joy, happiness of the moment, accepting change, learning a New Dance. Just my own take on these songs. Crazy, wonderful, inspiring...I am running out of superlatives to describe what I am hearing from this group. 'Alpha, Alpha, we gon' ride or die, Into the galaxy, you know the vibes'. 🌠🌠🌠

The first duo you mentioned was Jurin and Maya. Their ages range from 17-21. Chisa being the oldest followed by Hinata (blonde/pink hair), Jurin, Harvey, Juria, Maya and Cocona. The second duo is Jurin and Cocona, and yes Cocona sings as well. Before joining XGALX, she competed on many singing competitions. And you’re absolutely right, each of their song has a different vibe. Each song has a certain feel for how you feel that day.

I agree that the music they have been making and putting out makes you feel some type of way and it is usually gives the vibes of boss ladies just having fun! TGIF personally to me felt more like "we are them" type of vibe and New Dance is literally that a New Dance that just makes you feel so freaking good!!! the vibe of these ladies are so freaking immaculate!! I love them individually, but as a whole man they truly are next level!

A little bit or context from Jurin and Cocona: At firts, when XG still trainees there's was and extra member (Aiki) who actually was planned to be the leader, at the time Cocona was like 14-15 and was really close to Aiki (as well as the rest of the members but but they had an stronger bound) coz she feels like she was like a real sister to her. For some reason the agency decided that Aiki would not be part of the group and that was a hard time to the girls, specially Cocona. Then the agency name Jurin as the new leader of XG and thats the reason why Coco and her are so close now. Extra: the members age order is Chisa, Hinata, Jurin, Harvey, Juria, Maya and Cocona Another extra: the lore of XG (or at least our theories) is that the girls are something like alien-mutants wolf like creatures who came from another planet to earth with their New DNA (the name of their first mini album coming out on September) to explore the world and bring joy to humans. One last extra: the name of the fandom is ALPHAZ (yep, we are basically all of those werewolf memes)

I get what you mean about the oldest and youngest duo. I immediately pictured a friend of mine, she was always super cool and all of us admired her, then one day we went to her house and then meg her older sister and we were just mesmerized by how cool she was as well and it’s clear that her little sister takes after her sister. Both cool, calm and collected. It’s a cool dynamic to see.

Pretty sure that is Kitsune the fox thing of Japan. They switched the Alphaz sign up for TGIF into the Kitsune sign which Japanese Metal band Babymetal also uses.
