I know this is late, but my theory is that she never died but her soul went to peace, as in she was still with Yuuta but she don’t harbor any negative feelings for being cursed

*Manga Spoilers* : Yuuta's chapters in the culling game arc clarify that the real Rika was put to rest at the end of JJK0, but she left him this last blessing in the form of the replacement 'Rika' as this sort of manifestation of her will to look after him beyond death. Maybe people have different ways of explaining this, but personally I interpret it kind of like her giving her feelings a living breathing body to roam around in and help him carry half the load, ie. weapons and the mimicked techniques he's collected. Only this time it's much more traditionally conditional (requires a full connection via the ring, and even that can only be utilized for 5 minutes at a time) and much more fully under Yuuta's control. After all, she didn't want him joining her in death prematurely, and the happiest days of her very short life were the ones she got to spend with him. It only makes sense she'd want to carry on helping him even when finally facing the prospect of eternal rest.

It's cause it hits so hard and sad that sometimes it's hard for him to pause it, realize that we get to listen to these the first time in one steady flow, but he never gets to do that cause he gotta break down the bars.
