There r so many women gardeners who want to work. But they lack resource to do farming on a large scale. In senegal n other African countries the government especially the department of agriculture helps them with funding for boreholes, fertiliser n equipment. The ministry of agriculture gets funding of $80,000,000. Where does it go

Is not laziness is lack of support from the government imaging you harvest your products and there is no store to preserve them as you can’t sell them all once so they will get spoiled. While Senegalese government built those kind of facilities to help their farmers.

@@sarjosspot brother if you listen to the interview properly , what they buy from Senegal and resale in the Gambia you don't need storage from the government

@@laminnjie9359 I have been following lots of this mans interviews especially kutubunda with the gardeners much of their complaints are fence, water and a storage facilities so brother without that must of there product will get easily spoil. I think the only solution is that the government need to invest more on agriculture.

This is a very interesting program. There’s a problem in our markets and societies. What’s is the solution to these problems. I wonder if the government is watching this. I think government should help more people to get into entrepreneurship and stop taxing people who are into agribusiness. Since government is not creating jobs so helping more to venture into agribusiness and farming will quickly turn our economy to prosperity. Let the government as well encourage STEM programs in our schools system. I am not part of the blame game but we need critical thinkers to help our people. Its really sad seeing what’s going on our beloved country The Gambia.
