Igbos have the mindset to sell motor spear parts, but don't have the same mind to sell lands . If you want lands in Igbo land,go and mit the land agents face to face with your lawyer, you will get hundreds of land from them in Igbo land, south east.

In 2003, while in final year, my classmate from nnewi told me that land from their village is far more expensive than land in Lagos. Most of those bigots spreading that falsehood cant afford lands in the southeast. They can't compete

Reason for that is, inside village is where most of ancestors are buried, who wanna buy land or house that have a grave yards inside?

The then Governor of old kwara state General Gbamigboye built a house at Egbu road Owerri close to fire service. in the 1970s So Ruben was wrong . Again there is a street own by a Yoruba man called Rotimi "Ama Rotimi" it is still there till today

It is shameful and disappointing that someone like Reuben Abati has this bigoted mindset. Has Reuben attempted to buy land in any part of Igboland and been denied? T.O.S. Benson may have tried to divorce his wife indirectly by trying to trick them into buying land to build a house for the wife and daughter. Igbos have customs and traditions. In my part of Igboland, my married sister's children cannot build a house on my father's property. They cannot be allowed to reside with us and begin to raise their family there; it is an abomination. When our married sisters' children are growing up, up to their teenage years, they are free to live and stay in their maternal homes, but when they grow into adulthood and are ready to have their own families and raise, they must go back to their biological father's place to do so.
