The biggest difference with the GB offense this year is that Jordan Love is not afraid to throw the ball in the middle of the field. And whenever he dumps it off, be it across the middle or in the flat as a screen pass, the play usually goes somewhere YAC.

The Packers offense has yet to fully bloom, until we can have all functioning parts. They're loaded at every position and will possibly get Watson back. Watson, Doubs, Wicks, Melton, Reed, Heath, Jones, Musgrave, Kraft, Sims, Dillon and Wilson are all big play threats waiting to explode. If the line up front can protect, and we get Watson back, GB is very capable of putting up a lot of points. This offense will be much more lethal in year 2 and beyond, excited. And since Matt has had his say on defense, GB's front seven and pass rush has cranked up the heat finally playing up to their strength. This isn't going to be a cakewalk for the Cowboys like a lot of people think for some perplexing reason.

It is nice to see a quarterback that throws mainly to the open man and not force the ball to his best receiver. No disrespect to the ability of Rodgers or Davante Adams, but Packer fans have seen too many times when the big play was needed in the big game and A-Rod tries to force the ball to Adams, even with 2 or 3 defenders around him. Other receivers were uncovered and didn't even get a look. Rodgers is the best quarterback that ever put on a Green Bay uniform, but many Packer fans, myself included, grew tired of his drama and need for attention. New York is a better city for that stuff than Green Bay.

I was confident in Love from the git go, he was drafted as the New QB. 3 YEARS watching and learning from one of the best ever??? and everyone doubted him?? Madness, when drafted it was noted HE KNEW THE GAME BACKWARDS and had superb field awareness, yes there were questions on his deep threat etc etc, 3 YEARS to work on those issues....... all the rest in QB trouble, follow the Packs lead, get one that is a match to your style and methodology, have confidence in them, TRUST them. Don't go for the 'well this dude looks good out of the box', develop your QBs!

I absolutely love love and greenbay flying under the radar... reminds me of 2011 team. The cowboys lit up Sam Howell and the 4- Washington whatever. Greenbay beat a subpar but really good playing defense bears team. The defensive 'masterpieces' cited by the commenter came against teams whose offenses are in disarray. The Vikings started a rookie QB who quickly showed he wasn't ready for NFL level action, and Nick Mullens, who has a history of following great plays up almost immediately with clunkers, couldn't bring them back. Justin Fields is a great athlete, but not a great QB. I believe this defense will continue to be wildly inconsistent and mediocre at best if LaFleur can't bring himself to take the plunge and try to find a better DC.

Unless the Packers get to the Superbowl and put up a good showing Barry needs to go. The defense has too much talent on it to be so inconsistent. We don't want a repeat of the offense needing to carry the team. When the defense and offense click they have been scary even being so young. A balanced offense with a consistent defense that pressures the QB is a very scary team especially with how much potential is on that team on both sides of the ball.

Joe Barry should still be gone. This isn't an "in the moment" rage against him. He is awful from top to bottom. Even if the Packers make it to the Super Bowl he should be gone. He is worse than Capers was in his last 5 useless years in GB. If we had an even AVERAGE DC this year the Packers would have been battling for the NFC North with Detroit. Don't let two good games against two bad/beat up offenses fool anyone into some false sense that he turned the corner and suddenly remembered how to be a good DC. He's not. He will never be.
