In reality I don't think it has anything to do with real voting .. they have something they call superfan vote .. one from each state. When Angelina Jordan competed in 2020 she didn't advance. The finals were 1st Place: Brandon Leake, Spoken Word Poet. 2nd Place: Broken Roots, Singing Duo. 3rd Place: Cristina Rae, Singer. 4th Place: Roberta Battaglia, Singer. 5th Place: Alan Silva, Aerialist. Putri is a student from the Mardawa Mandala campus, Yogyakarta. There are 3 schools on the campus, SMM (Music high school), SMSR (fine art high school), and SMKI (traditional Javanese arts: dance, gamelan, wayang, and theater). I am alumni of SMSR. Many great artists come from the campus. An art college in Yogyakarta that is known by seniors in Indonesia is ISI (Indonesian Art Institute). I've studied there too.
