*Pragati Maidan is the place where many exhibition halls exist for many years, as shared in video also 7 new halls have also come up in that area recently developed, along with the exhibition halls, this new building called Bharat Mandapam (meaning Indian Temple in Tamil) has come up. Its a specialized building for International conferences which other counties can also hire the space along with ofcource large Global events of sizable consequence held by India. Its the world 3rd largest building for this purpose and 2nd biggest in Asia for International Conferences* As a kid when i used to go to exhibitions in Pragati Maidan, it used to take 3 days, walking 8hrs daily to cover all the stalls inside various halls, but was always fun, with a overall picnic kind of atmosphere with eating and relaxing on the grass and shaded open area around such halls, with numerous food stalls everywhere, also in such stalls inside halls, could buy unique items at reasonable rates, so also becomes a shopping paradise.

@@atheist8890 Thats why we are a country and common civilization words get borrowed between different languages over time, fact still remains in central and north India its is more commonly called Mandir in everyday language, while in South especially Tamil Naidu referred to as Mandapam. You can debate what came first Sanskrit or Tamil language, personally to me it doesnt matter, as long as India has oldest language, fact remains it is more commonly used in TN and south than rest of India, so we ought to give them that due simply due to continuance over time
