And yes she was a dictator. Read your comment again. The fact she was trying to control everything is a testament to the fact that She was going that route already. Im not a bJP supporter or anything. But the film actually seems very accurate because its not making Indira a hero or villain rather focusing on both side. And whether you like it or not. It was darkest period for Indian democracy. Keyword democracy which she tried to steamroll. But nonetheless We still reap the benifit of her decision. She took many hard decision in her time. The film is critical of her. Thats a good thing. Because Im tired of watching Biopics being celebratory and highly jingoistic. This seems very informative.

These are some of the propaganda you can see in the movie even though there was no need for that.
