He "takes the leap" and gives up the technology. He survives because it won't really kill you. You picked up on the "television has control" and "internet demands us to worship it like a god". These young ladies, who wrote this in their mid- and early teens, are very deep. Their 2nd album is Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept album that tells the story of a young woman who goes from unrequited love to obsession, stalking, murder, and then the battle against her evil side for control. First song is 'Dust to Dust', and the Lunario concert is a good one.

My interpretation: He took the leap of faith in giving up his addiction to his phone, and survived. These girls don’t write fluff lyrics. They have written songs about subjects like addiction and domestic violence (check out Black Holes and Copper Bullets live at the Dakota Bar) since they were young teens, sometimes to the consternation of their mother. Really enjoyed your reaction. 👍😎

The girls have always written lyrics far advanced for their young ages. XXI Century Blood is the title track to their first full album. They’ve said that the concept was about things they’d like to change and bring awareness to in the world as they see it. Checkout Black Holes live at the Dakota Bar from the same album. Written by Pau (drummer) at age 13, it routinely brings grown men to tears.

Sadly this is the only official music video from the 21st Century Blood album. The director Abraham Marcos, did an excellent job of capturing the essence of the lyrics written by The Warning. As young as they were when they started writing their own music and lyrics, you will find no puppy dogs or fluffy bunny tales here. They write songs about real life, addiction, domestic abuse, runaways and like this song about societies dependence on our electronic lives . This video won or was nominated for a number of awards , Best Music Video Around Films International Film Festival Barcelona April 2017 Best Script / Narrative Music Videos Pantalla de Cristal Festival 2017 Best Music Video Nominee Pantalla de Cristal Festival 2017 LA CINEFEST Semifinalist 2017 Official Selection Austin Music Video Festival 2017 Feel The Reel IFF, Audience Award October 2017 I Filmmaker International Film Festival Official Selection 2017

This was their first official music video, they do have another, but it's a cover, I consider that their official cover music video "The Pretender" by the Foo Fighters, that's another awesome video, check it out. The message is about being consumed by today's technology and what might happen if it were ever lost. At least that's the way I see it.

If I thought Nightwish had ever heard of The Warning I'd accuse them of ripping off several song and music video ideas from these young ladies. But I'm sure it's entirely coincidental.

The Warning are all generation Z, born after 2000, so it's true that when they decided to look at the world for things to write about they of course see what's going on now. They do read a lot so they may also get some of the history too. Great reaction to a great sone and video.

You are correct Dany doesn’t get enough credit for her solos. She doesn’t solo on each she. She ( The Warning) does what the song calls for. This is a God given talent.

These three ladies are awesome. I’ve written Scifi stories since I was a kid in my spare time and love the story lines and subjects TW puts in their music. That’s why I love their album Queen of The Murder Scene. It’s a concept album that I’ve listened to over and over finding new details in the story each time. Have a great day, sir. Great deep reaction. I enjoyed your analysis of these lyrics. Although there is a message about tech and social media taking control of our lives, these amazing sisters often leave their lyrics vague and invite you to have your own interpretation. Song writing about relatable subjects is what The Warning does best. The album The Queen of The Murder Scene is a concept album and is a story made of 13 songs. Each song tells a story in itself. The story is perfectly aided by the girls' performances, too. A reaction to this album is best done in the order of the songs, or it could become confusing. It would be great and interesting to see your reactions to the album and analysis. Great stuff.🤘

Hold up Rollen, don’t take everyone under the same umbrella. As me 74 yrs old, and never had or wanted to have a phone, and not because I couldn’t afford it. I still could have and pay ten phone if I wanted to. If I can’t see that person on the other side of the line, I can tell the biggest lies, and the other can do the same. And just feel:really sorry for the next generation. Hollywood did a perfect job to dumbing down generation after generation, and now the phone companies taking it to another level.Youngsters can’t even write or spell correctly, counting to hundred it’s a hard thing to them do it correctly. And coms three girls from Mexico, and they have to show the problems we older generation already let to happen? And I’m really worried about their safety if they play some concert in the US and A. Dark forces don’t like , if someone tells to the future slaves, ( hey, the sun is shining, and trees and bushes are full with leaves and birds chirping happily because their vision is not blurred yet! ) and exactly what this girls are doing. Thank God for their bravery!!!!

They are very brave in a world that wants to pretend this isn't happening. Thank you for watching and good for you saying No. I think it is very difficult for many to understand the hold, influence, and manipulation that goes on in everyday "simple" life. The best people to control are those who believe they are free.

It's REAL LIFE❕❕❕ and We are Part to blame, because the enemy makes stuff taste Good When It's Really No Good at all. Then We Pump More of That Ugly Into the world, and Many Gravitate to It, Sadly ... Because They are Often In a hurt, or broken, or dark place Theirselves. Someone Can Either conform to the ways of the world and the system, and Continue to watch Innocent bodies drop like flies. Either Be CONTRIBUTION To The SOLUTION or Keep Feeding the beast. GOD Is Calling Us OUT ! It's Time To PUT A BREAK IN THE CYCLE of darkness and deception, And START ONLY PUTTING OUT LIGHT, LOVE, CARE, FAITH, REAL MESSAGES, ... This Was GREAT

I'm in about the same age group as Rollen (and if you're 53 I'll eat my hat!). Anyway, the first time I saw this, I immediately saw the references to the original 'The Matrix'. ...and you're right, the narrative just keeps getting recycled with each new generation. I stay pretty current with technology and online security, so I see what these new 'smart phones' are doing. They've pretty much replaced TV with an even more invasive technology that follows you wherever you go, and tracks everything you do. We're the guys that have to figure out how to disable a portion of that to help protect our kids. 🙂 That said, these young ladies drew me in like a magnet back in 2017 or so, and I've been a supporter of their music ever since. I have yet to hear a bad song in their whole repertoire, and that's more than I can say about 99% of the bands out there! Like others have mentioned, you might want to check out their performance of Black Holes from The Dakota Bar. Written by Pau when she was 13, it's a song about addiction, that will rip your heart out! One of the *BEST* rock ballads I've ever heard actually. She takes a break from the drums and plays keyboards and sings it like she's actually lived it, even though she hasn't personally. You have to see/hear it to believe it.. they were still pretty young at the time, but don't let that fool you.😉

You guys are right, you can draw a line through all these types of songs and movies with similar messages, but in modern times it all stems back to the 1920's starting with Edward Bernays who learned from Freud about human psychosis who in turn came up with Mass Psychology and how to influence the masses without them even knowing. Which was used in marketing early on and then psychological warfare. The 21st century is rife with governments using on its own population especially in the US since it started here during the industrial revolution and continues today at warp speed because of big tech.. Its been called the Bernaysian Manipulation of the American mind. I love these young ladies carrying the torch for their generation by rocking out with their own style and sound . In my day it was Pink Floyds Animals and Another Brick in the wall albums that brought the message to me. Great analysis you two.. glad to see people actually thinking. 🤘⚡🤘

He is the mastermind of Propaganda that is what he is known for. I did a Capstone in college on how he was the mastermind behind social acceptance of women smokers during a time that it was taboo, only "men" smoked. He created a whole campaign and showcased women with cigarettes in their mouths and called it the "FREEDOM PARADE" and there he "empowered" women to put a Falick object in their mouths and overnight ads for Women Cigarettes were created, Virginia Slims, he turned taboo into sexy, into equality, into "freedom".
