To me, Lovebites is one of the best bands (any genre ) in the history of rock (male or female), and they’ve been here for only a little more than five years. I have already purchased the Blue-Rays of the concerts “Daughters of the dawn”, “Five of a kind” and “Heavy metal never dies”, the “Black pentagram” CD that also includes the DVD of their successful performance at Wacken Open Air, Germany, in 2018. Quite expensive but definitely really worth it; I live in Mexico City and Amazon Japan delivery service was excellent. Just like many people and KZbin reactors, I’m really out of words to describe Lovebites.

Thanks for more LOVEBITES! This concert disk package includes a LOVEBITES handkerchief. If not before, then by the end of this performance we just witnessed, and the affectionate introductions of these phenomenal artists, musicians, composers, lyricists & performers, united friends, the majority of humanity will understand why the handkerchief is included. 'The LOVEBITES Experience' transcends all other experiences with bands in my lifetime, and I am grateful beyond what these words can express.

It's pitiful that the audiences were banned to speak out and scream and only applause because of the corvid circumstances. Although lovebites members knew it and played the best performance! I think that's the professional and feel the strong trust relationship between the members and audiences. Very impressive and great performance!!

From the EP Battle Against Damnation. Day's after the release Lovebites won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for best new band. The last two tracks Miyako composed "Above The Black Sea" and Mao composed "Under The Red Sky" together make up a love letter to Sergei Rachmaninoff, unable to play his piano concerto No. 2 on piano Miyako created a guitar concerto with these songs instead.

It's sad to see them didn't throwing their picks like what they're always do after the show due to the covid condition.. But, it's still a great concert! They're giving all their best! Btw, this song is about the tragedy in Japan back in 1945.. When writing the lyrics to "Under the Red Sky", Asami approached it as a sequel to "The Apocalypse", from both their debut EP and first album, which is about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.. Yes it was the closer to the Ride For Vengeance tour 2021. It might of been your reaction to Frozen Serenade that you were thinking of from the same show.

This was part of a trilogy of songs they did about the end of WWII--as you can imagine, a sensitive and risky subject in Japan. "Above Black Sea" is a meditation by a Kamikaze pilot about to fly his mission. "Apocalypse" is about the atomic bombings. "Under the Red Sky" is about finding humanity in the aftermath of the bombings. Western artists spend most of their time writing and whining about a bad breakup. These girls have the cojones to write and sing about the most traumatic episode in their country's history.

This song is from "Heavy metal never dies - Live in Tokyo 2021", available in digital, cd, dvd and blu ray format. They did this concert under severe restrictions because of the covid.
