This song was recorded on the day that XXXTENTACION passed away as a tribute to him. Juice and X knew eachother and Juice even made the album cover of this song a screenshot their last conversation. He tributes Lil Peep in this song as well. Great reaction/breakdown as always Tom!

@@theodor8884 That's not true, using "we" just meant he considered them his peers, it wasn't some prediction or something. It's a very common phrasing, it could be like we(the youth), or we(the generation) or we(the gang), etc... it's just a phrasing to refer to a collective, not necessarily specifying yourself.

I had just turned 18, and now that I am 21, it just makes me think about how quickly anything can be taken from us. It's sad to see people this talented getting pushed away from our world this young specially when they got so much to live and look up for. Peep would be 26, xxxTentacion would be 24 and Juice would be 23 in 2022. Thanks for the reaction, its always good to hear people still praising this music. Much love from Spain

Juice made this song after XXX died in tribute to X and Lil Peep, in the song when he says "this time was so unexpected" its about XXX death because he was shot to dead unexpectedly, and when he says " last time was the drug he was lacing" he is talking about Lil Peep because he died of overdose. And when Juice said "we aint making it past 21" its beacause XXX and Lil Peep died before passing 21, and later not even Juice did 😢. THIS SONG GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS

This is my favorite Juice WRLD song. X, Peep and Juice were and still are in my top 5 artists since before their passing except for Peep who I sadly didn't discover until after he passed. Ay you finally got around to Legends! Got excited when I saw this in my recommended. This is probably one of his hardest songs to listen to after his death, because of how eerie the lyrics are with him basically predicting his death. I still remember when he died, everyone was talking about the lyric ‘What’s the 27 Club, we ain’t making it past 21’ because he died only a week after turning 21. It’s some really sad stuff. But this song was originally made (along with Rich and Blind) a few days after XXXTentacion died as a tribute to him and Lil Peep. Hence the ‘this time it was so unexpected’ being about X, and ‘last time it was the drugs he was lacing’ about Lil Peep. But yeah, congrats on 100k, thank you giving us such great content.

So, the 27 club is a reference to the group of famous people who died at 27, often young "rockstar" types. Along with this superstition is the idea that "death comes in 3's" and Lil Peep, XXXTentacion, and Juice WRLD all died one after the next. This song is a tribute to all those fallen legends, and he recorded this the day that X passed away. Juice predicted that he wouldn't make it past 21, and he died several days after his 21st birthday. Such a tragic song, and one I still love to listen to. Great reaction, as always! I love your insight and how helpful you are to me in making my own life choices. Rest in Paradise, Jarad "Juice WRLD" Higgins. 999 Forever.

Hey man, I’ve really been struggling a lot recently, and I stumbled upon a clip of you on tiktok and thought I’d go find your channel. Coming across your channel has really helped me even though it’s not a direct talk of me venting my issues etc. the way you understand everything is really pushing and has been a great thing for me to uncover in this world. Keep up the work it’s helped me on my rough days and I’m sure it’s helped others.

This song was recorded on the day that XXXTENTACION passed away as a tribute to him. Juice and X knew eachother and Juice even made the album cover of this song a screenshot their last conversation. He tributes Lil Peep in this song as well.

I been following you, been patiently waiting for the 100K, Im so happy for you. Lil Bo Weep has left us, that beautiful lady left behind Incredible music, songs such as wrote this song 4 you, codependency, so sorry and many more. May she rest in peace. Please consider reacting to her music. What a sad sad day!

Great video! His song 'Empty' was one of the few songs he wrote instead of freestyling and it is PREMIUM, deep lyrics, high quality production, I recommend it

He just got 21 himself and passed. The two legends he spoke about were X & LilPeep but its already being said often here. Its too unfortunate realtalk. Unbelievable every time again if u listen what type of forecasts he brought up. 😪🖤 4L

I cant speak for everyone one but i feel like alot of X fans became juice fans when he made this. This song made juice my favorite artist, especially since X was my favorite artist at the time it meant the world to me hearing this. i was only aware of mabye 3 juice wrld songs at the time so when he made this I took a deep dive into juices whole catalog been hooked ever since.

It's so heartbreaking so hear a lot of his songs, because of how eerie they are and how predictive they are of his death.. Breaks my heart, he was such a f******g talent, gone way too soon.. Rest peacefully juice 😪

The 27 club is an urban legend sort of thing where a bunch of famous people have coincidentally died at 27 years old. Robert Johnson, the blues musician, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, Amy Winehouse, the list goes on. Juice died 6 days after he turned 21.
