Your tutorials are so effective, it's unbelievable. All the other tutorials I've gone through are either a 10 minute video explaining broadly what React does, or a 4 hour-long in-depth project. Thank you so much, I will actually be prepared to hit the ground running at my internship because of your videos.

4th series and i find it very good... watch the roadmap also, he stated their that learn javascript first. i think we need to be comfortable first in javascript to master React. i like the excercises that has some catch, it will make us think as a programmer. i tried learning React a month ago with not much javascript and its very hard to grasp the concepts of react. it is much easier now. so good luck to all of us.

Hi Petro, thanks very much for your hard work. I am coming from the Angular world and starting with React now and just bump in your courses while searching for something to learn on youtube and really, I just say that you have made an excelent work here. Compare to other courses / tutorials I was watching, your courses are very simple to understand and you try to show all the mechanisms in a simple way for beginners. Also courses are really nice structured and are build up on already learned step by step, greate respect here!!!😍😍

So well explained, thank you. I used your first example with the age increase function to create a plus and minus counter. So easy! After struggling through another tutorial (from a famous channel!) I thought a counter app would be complicated. I thought React was overly complicated for little things that should be easy. After your excellent explanation, I am relieved and enjoy playing with these code snippets. And I know from previous programming languages that this is the start of becoming fluent.

I really love your course, because they are very simple but the logic is something that can be used. So for example I am not totally beginner at React but I remember that ""back in the days"" just to do the toggle was difficult from java script. Even your react beginner project that you posted this days was very cool. I hope you will have time to keep posting projects in the feature even though they are long because we as people that watch usually we are looking up for patterns of thinking. Keep pushing and dont forget you promise me to do a video how to do a github page with a template. Hope you will do it something clean and simple like not the usual like every body does

25:40 If I remember correctly method, the count method here is wrong, it always should be "prev => prev + 1" , it always have to be tight to previous value, otherwise sometimes react can count twice. It is because of React Strick mode which you use during proces of creating, which also help you find errors like something counting twice in strick mode which means that the code isn't 100% correctly written and might give errors in some situation.

I have a question to make. I have been writing react for a few months now. The only thing that you didn't mention is a problem i run sometimes into while using states. The problem is if u have a function that changes the state of a state variable and then you try to do something depending on the state of that variable inside of the same function the case is that the setter for the state hasn't yet changed the variable. I don't know what's wrong with it but a solution i found while experiementing was that i used the useEffect hook so that if the state changes then i get to have the states current value and check whatever it is that i wanted to.

My solution was to create a single function called counting and then I used a target element to compare its value to increase or decrease the count. And off course for the third possibility of I used an anonymous function to setCount to Zero. function App() { const [count, setCount] = useState(0); const counting = (event) => { const btnValue = event.target.value; btnValue === '+' ? setCount(count + 1) : setCount(count - 1); }; return ( Increase Decrease { setCount(0); }} > Set to Zero {count} ); }
