Due to time constraint, I couldn't develop this app further for user input and demonstrating how Axios helps to send frontend requests to the backend - I will do my best to create fullstack projects using Django and React - if you have any suggestions, just le me know in the comments | Cheers

well, im 100% into react now. But js is.. like.. why do it need ';' EVERYWHERE whyyyy :"D even in imports, this is strange! :"DD
@BekBrace Жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. JS has a lot of weird features, falling back from ECMA5 even, I know some JavaScript experienced developers who complain about that as well. But it is the ONLY frontend language, all of the internet is built upon JS, so no escape from learning it 😉

So I'm working on this project where i need to use Matlab and present the data through react. So do you think django would be the best fit as a backend and a bridge to connect to Matlab and react?

Hello Bek What does corsheaders do ?
@BekBrace3 жыл бұрын
Hey Tomasz. Corsheaders allow other sources on other domains and ports to interact with the backend server, if it won't be allowed, permission won't be granted and requests from frontend to backend won't work

Actually, in both. In React, for the interface for the input field, and in Django to handle that input in the backend.

So we don't need to write seperate html file right? Then how do we use css in react?
@BekBrace3 жыл бұрын
Hi Naga ! No, you write your main code in App.js in general, and then you add components as you like, and this is written in JSX which allows you to write HTML in JavaScript file. You can add your styling in App.css because it's by default imported in App.js , so try to modify the background color in App.css and you will notice that your page's background has changed accordingly.

Thank you so much for this video Bek! Your explanation of the underlying logic when you do each step is so very helpful. The only part that did not work for me was the final integration scripting (53 mins to 57 mins in your video) using the class component, as I planned on only using functional components with hooks. It might be too much to ask, but if you are able to put in the equivalent functional component script in your comment response to me that would be very helpful. Thanks!
